Modelling tips and tricks - plastic spoons and glass balls

First is a self-made paint catalogue made of plastic spoons and the second is using glass balls for easy mixing paints.

Great idea with the glass balls, I cut open spray cans and take out the balls , clean them and use those for the bottles of paint. Rick 😎✌️

That's one way to stay eco ;) I once bought metal balls for bearings, put them into the acrylic paint (water-based...) and it turned out those were not stainless steel but just iron. They corroded and the whole bottle of paint was destroyed (rust all over inside). With those glass balls, you don't have to care much if you put them into an enamel or acrylic paint. They are also cheap, 1-2 dollars for 100 when you buy them in China.

I didn't add the link because I don't want to make anyone a free advertisement ;) Besides, it would be out of date soon anyway. Just go to the Aliexpress and search "glass balls slingshot". You can choose diameter - I have 5mm, but now I've ordered 6mm ones to compare. But the 5mm are working just fine.

What is the diameter of the the glass balls you use?. I assume that they will also fit in Vallejo or AK Interactive bottles. Thank you

Those are 5mm ones. They fit into Vallejo and Hataka bottles easily. The AK Interactive ones are almost the same I guess.
