The flight of the Ku4 Austria Elephant 1934 in the M 1: 2 by Markus Frey at the 2014 gliding fair was probably one of the last flights, because the model will soon be handed over to the "German Gliding Museum" on the Wasserkuppe and issued. All flights of Austria "Elephant" from the gliding exhibition 2012, 2013 and 2014 presented in that movie. With a picture gallery with 200 photos, see link above.

DAS IST EINFACH NUR ABSOLUT EXTRAORDINÄR FANTASTISCH ❗❗❗👌 Aber auch wirklich ALLES. Und was da noch rum steht,rum fliegt,die Zugmaschine....der Hund is auch der Kracher,der Pilot sowieso. GRANDIOS sowas zu sehn...hab ich mir tatsächlich 2 mal am Stück direkt hintereinander reingezogen.

The pilot needs an arm that comes up with his hand in a thumbs-up sign to the controller and the crowd as he flies by! I love it. For a split second I thought he *the pilot" was a living person. Bravo!

What a beautiful model. I flew an H17 Hutter in the 70's and I know just how your pilot feels in his cockpit. They are about the same size,but your wingspan is much greater than a full sized Hutter. Greetings from Australia.

Absolutely wonderful. From the articulated pilot to the ability to follow the tow plane. Few people realize how difficult and important it is to keep the proper attitude behind the tow plane so as not to pull it or you out of the sky. And then just the gracefulness of the flight and the perfect landings. And the music just added that special layer of peacefulness. Thank you for posting and God Bless from Florida.

I've got a friend that built the same plane but 1/4 scale and the span was still 24ft. The story about the original full scale plane was entertaining as well. Nice job!!

Thought glider was going to pull towplane out of the sky for anxious few seconds,but good pilots on both planes and power from that lovely 5 cylinder radial - perfect.

To be honest I was more amazed by the tow planes. That is some pretty good power to pull that large of a glider with its drag.
