Created by Clive Doherty, these automata are extraordinary interactive, mechanical sculptures. Made from old bicycles, cars parts, tools and household utensils, each one has its own distinctive character. Clive's flair for the fusion of art and engineering enables these whimsical, curious contraptions to come to life in their own unique way.

I can't get enough of the sounds those things make. Mechanical ratcheting and gears turning is like amazing to me for some reason.

Tools as life and life as tools. What an amazing piece this is. Even the machinery sounds of this piece say so much - the ticking clock , the interminable march and standstill of time effect of the dog's tail. I hope this piece will always be displayed with a focus on the sound as much as the visual. I hope this video gets millions more views soon.

Amazing! I am delighted and a little bit scared of them being skinless. Clive must have the soul of an artist and the brain of an engineer. I have trouble hanging pictures so I may be biased

Very Unfortunately and sadly, the truth is you are not in your family and there is no more your home. In other words you are free. But the only thing which is free is the death. So You need to face up with your reality and try to make a live by yourself, it will be hard at the beginning but will eventually make you tough.
