My man is a retired Honda guy. As we were from Bay Area in California he brought home a hard earned 75k. (That was prob equivalent to you considering cost of living..) He got up every morning at 4:30, worked hard and respect and love him. I never cared about social this and that. An “average” life, where you never worry about necessities, but don’t have all the luxuries is very uncomplicated. I am a Journeyman Electrician. I’m in the same socioeconomic status, and I love it. I’m just perplexed when people i.e. women-looking-for-a-man, think that what we are is substandard. Superintendents/Estimators that I know are stung out. Even if they have luxuries, and possibly hot women, they don’t appear to be enjoying them. I wouldn’t be interested in hanging out with them, or even being them.
