I have and I've come face to face with a few bears...I rather choose the bear vs a random man. With the bear, you know what to expect and how to deal with one. Random man? Anything goes.

@@StudSupreme Why would I lie? I've gone camping/hiking mainly on the east coast and I've encountered black bears solo & in a group, especially in PA. With black bears, you have to scare them off, with brown/grizzlies, play dead

This is absolutely nuts. That's like me being asked would I want to be stuck in the ocean with a woman or a great white shark and me saying I'd prefer to be with the apex predator of that environment. That's how completely illogical this is. Or, 99.99999% of men you would be safe with. But 100% of bears you wouldn't be safe with.

I'm so confused about these answers and the only possible positive way for me to view this is- I definitely haven't felt like a woman has ever feared me and they tend to be very comfortable with me. However, the last time I ever felt existential fear was as a bear many times bigger than me was actively chasing me in the woods. To think that women feel that level of fear at the thought of being alone with a strange man is hard to fathom.

Blackp'llers keep going on and on about chads like Alian Delon and Johnny Depp, just pointing out something both were controlled by toxic women. Getting a relationship is one thing, being in a healthy one is another. And many men end up being what one would call 'friend zoned' by stealth by women that they are married to. I don't know why she's worried about a man's motives because if you are stranded out in the woods, he is the only one that's going to be concerned with getting everybody out safely, he's not going to be caring about his feelings, he's not going to be caring about your feelings, he's going to be caring about survival so what motives can you possibly come up with to feel less safe with a man than an animal that would eat you because you look like a threat because you're not a bear ?
