They can be silly as 5years olds on a sugar rush in a toy store at Christmas while making incredible good music at the same time. You usually had to watch it a couple of times to pick up all the hidden jokes.

It is Austin Brown who is the elf. This song was from a group Need to Breath which I believe is a contemporary Christian group. This was a great change of pace video for Home Free it really surprised me. It is my understanding that Adam Rupp the beatboxer who is real big into Dungeons and Dragons was behind the video theme. Their vocals were superb as usual. Thanks for your continued great reactions to Home Free. 2 weeks ago Home Free released an absolutely outstanding version of a song from when we’re growing up. They did a cover of LISTEN TO THE MUSIC by the Doobie Brothers. This is top notch and I believe you would love it. If you want to see their comedic/funny side a couple suggestions are BUTTS MEDELY (REMIX) and CHAMPAGNE TASTE ON A BEER BUDGET which is a Tim Foust original. You have a blessed day.

Home Free=Brotherhood=5Brothers 💖 That's what makes Home Free so special for me.💖 This is is so awesome!!!!👏 So cool and funny but at the same time so sweet!!! Beautiful how they are dressed up, all one by one fabulous. What a beautiful start from Chance with a voice so smooth and sexy. And even though it looked cool, it was almost a shame that you didn't see his face through that helmet for a while. 😊 Then our soulful Rob, the teddy bear with his beautiful voice as soft as silk and his very high note!!💞 Who sings while lying down and later received a sweet kiss on his injured finger from Tim. 😅 Tim with his beautiful pathetic dragon and who with his bass could have knocked everyone down in my opinion. 😉😄 Austin with his amazing moves and a voice just like he looked. And I think Amberly loved knocking him down. 😂 Then Adam Rupp, who I think has always been magical with his vocal percussion/vocal sounds, but proved once again that he is The Magier and the glue of Home Free. He has a whole room full of Dungeons and Dragons, and often plays such games. I think this is his idea too. He was incredible and handsome again.🥰😁

Just wanted to add something that no one pointed out, the girl who stood there shaking her head, hit Austin (the elf) on the back, and was giving him water at the end of the fight is Austin's better half Amberly . This was such a beautiful song 🎵 in spite of all the goofiness going on. Just saw my first concert and it was fantastic. If you get a chance you really should go experience their talents. So well worth it. Thanks for your great reaction 🥰😊🐲

This video had it all. The song itself was so beautiful. Chance starting it off sounded and looked the part of a weary warrior. What a lovely smoky voice. Rob's picking it up brought the message of the song around. The tone of his beautiful voice bringing the positive element . The harmonies, bass line, and beat boxing quality are the usual stellar performances by the guys. The video had funny elements, sweet, adorable elements, heartwarming bonding of brothers elements, the battle between good and evil with them going into battle side by side as brothers. All "Epic Heros". Adam saving his brothers with his magical powers was very cool. These guys are dedicated to their craft. They recorded this video in the middle of an extreme heat wave. Love them all! Loved this video! Thanks for a great reaction.

The guys did great with the song. It is hard at first to keep up with the music. The sound is there but so is the war going on. 😉 Chance was the first singer. Rob and Austin (the elf) were singing really great also. Adam Rupp brought the guys all back. He did it so well. Tim was worried about his Dragon. Rob's painful finger luckily was helped by Tim with that sweet little kiss on his Boo Boo. It was fun watching you...Thanks.

This was written by Beau and Bear Rhineheart, brothers who were the frontmen for the band, NEEDTOBREATHE, after a fight between them over things going on in the band. As Bear put it, “One of us went to the hospital.” They had a serious conversation later about whether they wanted to be band mates first or brothers first. They decided brothers. Although it was not because of tension in the band, Beau ending up leaving the band a few years ago to pursue his love of visual art. Their album, Out of Body, is absolutely amazing!

This video is great! Love the song about brotherhood. It immediately made me think of Home Free and how close they are with each other. The antics were ridiculously funny! The woman who made the face after Rob fell is Austin’s girlfriend, Amberly. Loved her expression! Then she hit Austin in the back with her foam sword. Lol So many funny things, but so much “magic”, too, from Adam! He was their hero who saved the day! Kind of like him being the heartbeat of the group, too! The one in the helmet is Chance, Rob was wearing the Braveheart makeup, Austin had the elf ears, Adam was the one who did the magic. You had Tim right.

If I'm not mistaken, Austin was an Elf from LotR or something, Adam was a wizard or mage or Templar from D&D, Rob was William from Braveheart, Chance was a Mandalorian from Star Wars and Tim was Hiccup from How to Train your Dragon, he was riding his best friend Toothless (the dragon). I could have them all wrong but that is what I saw. And btw this video was off the hook, Robs voice gave me chills and Adam is my new hero.

Great reaction, Bob. I don't know from gaming, LARPing or cosplay but have to hand it to the guys for their total commitment, especially in 100+ degree heat of a Nashville park (cars driving by) while fully costumed. Adam's conceptualization for this fun video definitely has high entertainment value. (Have watched countless times and notice something new with each viewing.) For a brief moment Austin was sans his 'elf' ears. (Perhaps the glue failed in the heat?) Amberly's role was brief but certainly memorable. They could've easily gone a totally different direction with the video given the message of the song. To fully appreciate the 'magic' of their vocals, one has to listen to it w/o the 'distraction' of the video.

@Lana - Good Catch Lana! 1:08 is a good place to pause and see Austin without the ears. I caught a little something too (I'm not nitpicking). In the scene where Adam Rupp is standing between Chance and Tim while they're in battle and stomps his magic staff to the ground and the enemies are magically thrown to the ground... Afterwards, Adam is holding his staff with his left hand... Tim goes to Hi-five him with Tim's right hand and Adam Hi-fives back with his left which WAS holding the staff a split second before. Then he Hi-Fives Chance with his right hand while holding the staff again with his left hand. :) No one cares... the guys are so much fun, I had tears in my eyes from laughing the first time I watched it.

Adam Rupp is the Heroic Cleric (can wield weapon/shield as well as a staff, and can resurrect), Adam Chance is Boba Fett, Rob is Braveheart, and Tim is definitely a dragon rider, whether from GoT or another dragon rider related movie. LOL found the dragon rider costume, as well as the chainmail shirt/coif. :D The song itself it perfectly done by HF - their harmonies are otherworldly. The video totally nourishes my fantasy RPG/World of Warcraft nerd's soul! I've never LARPed (Live-Action Role Play) but have many friends who do so regularly. Tim kissing Rob's boo-boo (the band-aid even said boo-boo on it) and sipping a Capri Sun (or similarly pouched beverage) was very amusing. And to end with Adam making his own magic... STELLAR!!! Not to mention that everyone in the video did this in 100 degree heat. Major props to all of them!

Hey Kristy. If it was that hot when they made this...then they are better people than me. I would be whining the entire time! LOL There are just so many great moments in this video. I've watched it SO MANY times since I recorded this. Still finding new things. Ha Thanks for listening.

The original is a great song from Needtobreathe. They are a Rock Band...with roots in the Christian Music. There will be some God and scriptural references in their music. They are instrumentally, lyrically and vocally, fantastic. The song is about the strong bond and behaviors of blood brother who love and are there for each other. It can also be applied to the relationship between friends who get close enough to love each other as brothers. Link to the original. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bJeHoMKi0byoZIU.html Needtobreathe is worth the time to listen to...outstanding music!

Tis just a flesh wound! 🤣 The song was good ,but ,like you, I got wrapped up in the video. I'm thinking Orc and not Elf. I think elves use more of the bows, swords, and daggers, and Orcs use club type weapons. Had to laugh at the Mandalorian helmet. Always thought LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) was supposed to be a Lord of the Rings and D+D type universe with Wizards, orcs, elves, dwarves, etc., and then you see Star Wars. LOL

I completely understand the ref. to Marty Robbins / Gunslinger Album and specifically Big Iron. Yes yes yes it is a memory tickler because of the stories as well as Marty Stylistic way with the low end of his range expressing the serious parts of the story. When you think of Big Iron in the Big Picture or snapshot of that life it's never just Lawman vs Criminal that's the little picture/event it was the town and the gang and then you add in how many Brothers in Law Enforcement that tried and never went home so it fell to that ranger. This song reflects the Big Picture of what it means to be family/Brother to man... you find who you are meant to make a stand with or they find you. That's Life big battle or small you will be surprised by who it is that makes that stand with you. Who becomes your Brother in those moments. That is Lovely, That is a story worth the telling and like Marty Home Free tells a Story Well.

This Home Free video is my favorite video so far, not my favorite song but my favorite video. I'm not sure if someone who hasn't seen a lot of Home Free videos would be as entertained as fans but i still think they'd like it. Every reviewer i have watched so far review this video says the video makes it had to analyze the song cause the video has so much going on. Its not a bad thing, so many layers to unwrap. Btw i've not seen anyone mention it but did austin lose his ears at some point and then they reappeared?

Since you are a fan of Game of Thrones, I would love to see you react to the version of Game of Thrones done by Peter Hollens voice and Lindsey Stirling's violin done on 140 tracks. They've also collaborated on Skyrim and a Star Wars Medley. Thanks for the great reactions, Bob! This was too funny!
