In today's video let's chat all about the curriculum buzz going around! I know it can be tempting to want and buy all of it, but I'm here to let you know you don't have to spend a lot of money to homeschool your children well! More expensive doesn't necessarily equal a better education. There are so many inexpensive and even free homeschool curriculum & resources. I also encourage you not to buy things just because they are shiny & new! In fact, in my experience, a more simplistic homeschool schedule is usually best for everyone. First time viewer. When you said you have a grown high school graduate my jaw dropped. Does anyone else think that homeschool moms just have a youthful glow?? Thanks for the video. I’ll be homeschooling my 3rd grade this fall. ❤

Thank you for this great video especially the part about buying too much curriculum it's so true it's easy how it can just begin to feel very overwhelming for us moms and our kids.

I wish i can hit that like button 100 times thank you so much this is going to be my first year homeschooling my 5 year old who was in public school and im so so nervous and you calmed me down

That makes me so happy to hear. We all start off not really knowing what we’re doing, but we live our kids, want the best for them, and have taught them so much already! At this age, just enjoy the time together and have as much fun learning as you can.💗

We started homeschooling in the early 1990s...nothing has changed! There's far more excellent and exciting curriculum than anyone can possibly use.

My 8th grader is struggling through school. Is it better to wait until she hit high school to home school or start anytime? Do you need to notify the school or the school district that you are home schooling? New to this as you can see. Thanks for the content.

I am not a big fan of all of this home schooling stuff. I know of people that are in terrible financial situations that home school their kids. Some of them have marriage problems due to financial struggles.
