Сегодня, 15 марта 2024 посмотрел вживаю в Большом театре эту оперу. Самый мощный момент- хор стрельцов Выйди батька, мурашки по коже , высший класс! Низкий поклон таким людям, создателям оперы, живым и тем , кого нет с нами!

Была тоже в этот день в Большом, согласна, что Батя, батя, выйди к нам! один из самых мощных и пронзительных хоров в этой опере, а то, как это было исполнено - высочайшего уровня профессионализм! Спасибо создателям и исполнителям оперы, что подарили это счастье и полет мысли - опера современна как никогда!

Absolutely the most stunning production ever! I hate to think of anything so mundane as the cost of it all, but in addition to the chorus we have a troupe of dancers and an on stage band....

Oh yes! I saw this on Mezzo at the time, and have been looking for a good upload of this fascinating, complex opera ever since...what a joy to find it here again, and this great production!

For me, the Lamm + Shostakovitch version is the definitive version. I feel Shostakovitch really understood Mussorgsky when he orchestrated this opera

Info to all lovers of Russian music out there: I am currently working on the subtitles to Rimsky-Korsakov's ,,The Tsar's Bride". I hope to finish and publish it on KZfaq shortly. Info an alle Liebhaber russischer Musik da draußen: Derzeit arbeite ich an den Untertiteln zu Rimsky-Korsakows ,,Die Zarenbraut". Ich hoffe, es in Kürze fertigzustellen. 1.2.2022 - It will probably take a while before it's ready. I'm quite busy with my studies ;-) 5.3.2022 - It's finally ready! Enjoy watching!

Comprendiendo las usuales dificultades de Mussorgsky para la composición y definitiva partitura de esta nobílísima partitura, la ópera es de todo punto excelente. Se representó en Cádiz en 1947.

Сравнил спектакль Большого театра времен СССР, с этим спектаклем и сделал вывод, что профессиональный уровень солисов вокалистов Мариинки очень сильно уступает певцам Большого театра времен СССР.

К сожалению, в то время обычно использовалась версия Римского-Корсакова, которую я лично считаю неудовлетворительной.

К сожалению, мои познания в русском языке весьма примитивны. 😂 Я из Германии... У меня почти получается сопоставлять русские предложения с переводом.

why is Kuzka’s Act 3 song about gossip omitted? I think Rimsky did but am not aware Shostakovich did.

Klingt immerhin besser als wenn der Hund meines lobotomierten Nachbarn mal wieder seine Blase am Stromzaun der Rindviehweide entleert. Also vielen Dank an den Phy ....ähem ... siker für diese Töne! Eine vorzügliche Klangtherapie fürs Lauschgebälk!

Herzlichen Dank für dieses so großzügige Lob! Dieses sollte jedoch eher an Mussorgsky gehen, der nebenbei über Hunde ja eine ebenso negative Meinung hatte wie du es scheinbar tust.

Er kann sich ja mit Pawlow zusammentun und versuchen, die Köter auf Klassische Musik zu konditionieren. Bei Justin Bieber und Konsorten können sie meinetwegen dann in einen Blutrausch verfallen und in alles beißen was den Quintenzirkel nicht auswendig kann.
