I feel like for all the hype around Nehru - the romanticism like your comment (it evoked a similar response for me tbh) or the blind hate on whatsapp university and radio rwanda; We'd all be better off actually reading about the freedom struggle again as adults and how the foundation was laid for our country, what challenges we faced. IIRC when I went to school (CBSE), Indian History ended with the freedom struggle atleast for 10th class - and while we did study about the constitution and the pillars of our democracy in Civics, we didn't learn a lot about what historic events influenced in shaping our democracy the way it is. We see a very skewed image of Nehru and other founding figures in popular media these days, and it usually contains little to no information about their ideas and their vision for a modern India to outlive them many times over.

हम सब को बचपन याद आता है तो सोचता हूं कि हम सब धुर कांग्रेस विरोधी थे लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में नेहरू, इंदिरा गांधी, शास्त्री जी या राजीव गांधी की विदेश यात्रा को टकटकी लगाकर देखते सुनते थे, आकाशवाणी पर कान लगाकर सुनते थे और यह भाव ही कभी नहीं आता था कि प्रधानमंत्री कांग्रेसी है क्योंकि हम सबके मन में देश हित पहले था लेकिन मोहब्बत की बड़ी बड़ी डींग हांकने वाले विपक्षी और उनके एजेंडा धारी चाटुकार बुद्धिजीवियों को आज देखता हूं तो अब अनुभव होता है कि इन एजेंडा धारियों का देशप्रेम तभी जायज होगा जब प्रधानमंत्री कोई नेहरू खानदान का हो या उनकी कृपा से बना हो वरना इतर स्थिति में इनकी देशभक्ति छू मंतर हो जाती है!आज नरेंद्र मोदी का अमेरिका में अभूतपूर्व स्वागत हो रहा है लेकिन लेफ्ट लिबरल सूडो सेकुलर इकोसिस्टम के चाटुकारों को मोदी की सफल यात्रा से भारत का बढ़ता महत्व ,कद बिल्कुल रास नहीं आ रहा है और वे लगातार मोदी विरोध के चक्कर में देशविरोधी एजेंडा चलाने में व्यस्त हैं!मोदी विरोधी एजेंडा धारी बुद्धिजीवियों का वाकई मानसिक संतुलन खो गया है और ये इतने मूर्खतापूर्ण हथकंडे अपनाते हैं कि किसी को भी हंसी आ जाती है! राहुल गांधी स्वयं मोदी का नकल कर रहा है बल्कि ये कहें कि पप्पू के सलाहकार राहुल गांधी को मोदी की नकल करने की सलाह देते हैं ताकि इस खानदानी बकलोल की कुछ क्षवि सुधार हो जाये लेकिन हीन भावना से प्रेरित नालायक बुद्धिजीवी और एजेंडा धारी अब अपने को थोड़ा बड़ा साबित करने के लिए हल्के पन का परिचय देते हुए कहते रहते हैं कि मोदी जी राहुल गांधी की नकल कर रहे हैं!हा,हा, हा! हंसी आती है कि ये सारे एजेंडा धारी ही कभी राहुल गांधी की नकल नहीं करना चाहेंगे क्योंकि पचपन साल के इस बालक में नकल करने लायक है ही क्या?लेकिन फिर भी इन्हें मोदी से तुलना करने में शर्म नहीं आती!अरे, मोदी असली खरा सोना है और राहुल गांधी मिलावटी धातु से बना बनावटी बहुरूपिया है जिसने समय समय पर अपने अज्ञान और बचपने से देश का सिर नीचा किया है!नकलची राहुल खानदान का कोई भी व्यक्ति कभी भी आज तक रेगुलर मंदिर गया था लेकिन मोदी का कमाल है कि इन सब बहुरूपियों को जनेऊधारी बना दिया,सब मंदिर मंदिर भाग रहे हैं , हनुमान चालीसा पाठ कर रहे हैं!बस हिंदू थोड़ा एकजुट होकर अपनी ताकत और बढ़ा लें तो इन सब दलों और एजेंडा धारियों के सिर से सेकुलरिज्म का भूत भी उतर जायेगा! राहुल गांधी केवल विदेशी टूलकिट का अभिन्न हिस्सा हैं और उनके दौरे को जार्ज सोरोश , सुनीता विश्वनाथ,सैम पित्रोदा जैसे अधिकतर भारत विरोधी ताकतों ने प्रायोजित किया था जो शाहीन बाग,किसान आन्दोलन में भी सक्रिय थे और उन्हीं टूलकिट के हिस्सा रहे भारत विरोधी अमेरिकी कुछ सांसदों ने मोदी जी की यात्रा के समय जो बाइडेन को पत्र लिखा था जिसके आधार पर मोदी विरोधी भारत के एजेंडा धारियों ने बहुत ज्यादा हाईलाइट करने की असफल कोशिश की है! अब न महंगाई,न बेरोजगारी,न अडानी,न अंबानी,न पेगासस,न राफेल,न किसान,न पहलवान कोई भी मुद्दे काम नहीं आ रहे हैं फिर भी आईने की तरह साफ है कि 2024 के चुनाव के पहले सारे मोदी विरोधी कोई न कोई छोटा बड़ा मुद्दा उछालते रहेंगे ही और जनता इनके षड्यंत्रों को खूब समझ रही है!मोहब्बत की दिखावटी दुकान में नफरती एजेंडा धारी विराजमान हैं जो मोदी से घृणा के स्तर तक नफरत करते हैं क्योंकि वे किसी नामी गिरामी खानदान से ताल्लुक नहीं रखते बल्कि एक गरीब पिछड़े परिवार से ताल्लुक रखते हैं और बेहद ईमानदार हैं जिसने लुटियंस जोन के बंगलों पर अपनी बपौती और मालिकाना हक समझकर दशकों से अतिक्रमण कर काबिज बेईमान नेताओं और पत्रकारों को बेदखल कर देने का काम किया है जिसके कारण उन सबके स्वार्थ की दुकानदारी बंद हो गई है और बौखलाहट में अत्यंत घटिया काम करते जा रहे हैं और मोदीजी से घृणा के चक्कर में लगातार देशद्रोही ताकतों को बढ़ावा देने का काम कर रहे हैं! लेकिन नरेन्द्र मोदी का साहस देखिये कि वे विदेश से लेकर देश की धरती तक इन षड्यंत्रकारियों से जूझते हुए शेर की तरह अकेले दहाड़ रहे हैं!

@@nobudget2547 that's a valid question but I would say no. I realised this on my own. I used to watch news all day, but eventually I realised it's getting worse. I don't follow any congress propaganda page. My social media feed is full of things related to universe,gaming, a bit of programming. This is all coming from common sense and basic humanity. The behaviour of news channels after 2014 is very noticeable. You can compare there reporting before 2014 and in current times.

PR was there then also but they always downplayed Manohan Singh and his achievements so that Rahul Gandhi could take the center stage, Along with many administrative blunders corruption allegations,Rahul's immaturity and the Congress high command's desire to put him on the top was one of the main reasons why modi had it easy in 2014. Now in 2023 the country has gone into such a dark age that the future is bhagwan bharose.
