I realized that the runes from Kaldheim would do extra work on Reconfigure creatures. Enchant it while it's a creature, it gains the rune's +1/+1 and keyword. Reconfigure, equip it to another creature, the newly equipped creature now benefits from the rune.

my brain- "Hey is that a Wolverines logo on his jacket? Go Blue! ........ OHHHHHHHH I get it"

the sacrifie cgb made to his top 100 rank for some boros content is pretty amazing, he couldve pushed this deck back until the stakes werent so high, but he always tries to bring something fresh for us, respect the confidence in his ability to hit the ladder knowing full well it could be a disaster

Ive seen a ton of boros warriors/aggro decks like this but nobodys running Nahiri. maybe im biased because i pulled a full set of her from packs on zendikars release and have been trying to make her work ever since, but kamigawa genuinly gives support to her playstyle.

Not sure if you’ll read this or take it under consideration but my experience I’ve seen pretty decent results from cards like the ronin 2/2 for 1 that returns to hand at the end of turn, the automaton that grows with each artifact play, and stuffed bear. For a boros aggro plan, those cards are incredibly difficult to deal with at sorcery speed, and that eliminates about half or more of the enchantment deck and the black white tokens deck’s removal spells. Forcing th to play at instant speed is usually enough to just get that little bit of tempo and put it over the top. Stuffed bear is actually an incredible performer when they don’t have just the right cards; 4 damage a turn really adds up. The ward on the automaton is nice too. 🤷‍♂️

CGB!! I have never commented or watched you on twitch, but I wanted to let you know that I just reached mythic for the first time playing the UW deck you showcases earlier this week. I know it's not your own deck, but I really appreciated hearing you talk thru the matchups - definitely helped me out of some tough spots. The deck took me from plat 3 to #1633 mythic in 3 days. It honestly doesn't have any bad matchups, but can get stomped by Lolth against WB tokens. Cheers!

I've been having a bit of success playing a version of this deck with Patchwork Automaton. I don't have lizard blades yet, but I think with the Rabbit Battery and Maul, the deck has enough artifacts to make the Automaton worth running.

Stayed to the end…hearing the wrap up is always a highlight! I did have to laugh when I saw Angelfire in the list…your discomfort for having to include it was quite visible. 😁 But you can’t do Boros in standard without it nowadays so thanks for taking one for the team, for the content.

Does anyone else notice a flood of lands in the middle/end game? I'm talkin' 4-6 consecutive lands in the middle. I've played aggro decks with a high land count of 24 but have also went down as low as 21, and this still happens.

I think this deck needs more creatures. Have you consider adding Sunrise Cavalier or Risona to the deck? These creatures can modify themselves. Cutting 1 Maul, 1 Ignition, 1 Raiju and 1 Blades might do the trick!

I ran into White/Blue artifacts deck 4/5 games yesterday. I bet CGB made a Azorius deck that’s coming out in a few days. EVERY SINGLE GAME was al least 20+ minutes (two were 40+ minutes) because they had to keep looking at their artifacts and rope me EVERY SINGLE TURN. It’s so much worse than Alrund’s Epiphany.
