hey bro thanks for the feed back shocks i got from the FTX i did have piggyback shocks boomerang RC shocks there good look the part but they dint seem to last to long . my overall opinion of the FTX carange is a must have handles fab goes like stink if you have the right KV motor and LIPO spur gear and dog bones could be a little better but then dont go crazy driving it you got to get yourself antie roll bars makes a massive difference on handling hope this helped you mate one more thing i posted this vid like 4 years ago and yes to this day i still have it. get the upgrades for it mate it helps and looks wicked costs a bit but worth it just remember dont punch the throttle hard and spur gear will last longer drifts like hell in the sand on the beach tho loves it enjoy bro FTX vantage is cool too. :)

sorry a bit late on getting bk to you ...yea 4370kv will be fine but also if your running a 120amp esc and it can run a 3 cell lipo your doing if not go for a say 5/6000mah lipo running say 75c you should still get it to do it hope this helps bro sorry to reply so late my vid is old but i still got him cheers mate

I'm running a 3s battery on the standard brushless motor and esc it runs fine jus goes through more spur gears also using the bugsta wheels and tyres as the carnage tyres seem so spin on concrete with a 2s battery so I upgraded to bugsta ones and she pops up with ease

had 83 gps on it bro and a 2 year later and its still going

take off the rear gear and pinion guard and take a look, replace pinion or gear. or better still take it into your local hobby shop and they can easily fix that!

They can be easier to bend sometimes compared to plastic though so i dont see the appeal of aluminium a arms lol

This car is a animal on 3s and the upgrades are needed as the plastic breaks I brought one n bust it the same day good car and good to learn I jus can't seem to find the parts to upgrade like he has can get wheel knuckles and steering arms ect but I can't find the carbon plate that the switch sits on there's a few other bits I can't find either like spur gear covers ect I see his spur gear isn't protected either dunno if I'd like that stones ect hitting it and damaging it wouldn't be good surly

sorry its been long on the reply .. go for the big bottom allimum plate that should do it ... sort the shocks out ie new oil and that should be your start off if you can as well run it on a 4370kv motor brushless that way your gonna have fun any more than that ive found i just keep doing in the spur gear cheers m8 james
