That's a Mardave 4 cell charger, it's 2 current limiting resistors in there. They're super dangerous, they get red hot I melted my bedroom carpet with one of them. They came with the Mardave Mini Stock Car.

Tuned pipes don’t normally have anything in them either. Usually the tuning is in the volume of the pipe which helps the engine develop more power at certain rpm ranges. With race cars you can use different pipes suited to different tracks.

It could be just a carry around to charge your batteries at when you're out and about as a backup charger maybe

I smacked my favourite (and oldest) FTX into a tree yesterday and broke the chassis. Second time of doing it now. I really must learn to brake. 😁 The first time I did it, it was the only RC buggy I owned so a big deal for me. Luckily, parts are cheap and easy to find. Been thinking about maybe it is time to upgrade it to the carbon fibre chassis. The problem is, it began life as a cheap buggy. Do I really want to be spending so much money on upgrading it? The thing is, I enjoy the bench work, modding and rebuilding but does an upgraded buggy not just end up as a shelf queen? It is a buggy I like to run. I don't want it stuck on a shelf gathering dust.

Question brother. My savage 4.6 nitro motor. Can I use the big block header so the body shell can for my Revo 3.3 The header is smaller by like .1 mm or some small fraction I measured it they’re so close to the same size I can’t see it being a bad thing. 👍😊
