Modify a Swiss Army Knife for Whittling: No Power Tools Edition

In this video, I show how to modify a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife for whittling without the use of power tools. This mod is made quicker with the use of a grinder, Tormek, Dremel, belt sander, or other power tools, but if you don't have access to tools like that this video shows an easy way to achieve the same results.

Great instructional video. 👍 I just watched Felix Imler do this with his bench grinder and wondered what I needed to do the mod without the grinder.

Hi! I would have a question. 😅So I have a victorinox farmer and I would like to put a magnifying glass and the inline philips screwdriver into that from an explorer, would that be really difficult? Great video btw!

Thanks. That would be a pretty involved mod. You would need to disassemble the farmer and source (or make longer) pins so you can put it back together. Take apart the explorer, and another 93mm knife that you can take the back spring from to use with the mag. glass and inline Phillips because the one on the explorer will be to short. You also might have to fiddle with the mag. glass and inline Phillips a bit (or the scavenged spring) to get everything to close up right. It would be doable, but pretty involved.
