Oh I'm really sorry for that, did the HQ10X4.5 not work your you? For these demo flights I still use the Gemfans so there is some jello visible, but then I also use a huge battery on the Helion.

Hi Chris, I was impressed that I actually got as far as 6,5km (friends got less) since at that distance - with the stock mounting - only half bit of the one VTX antenna is still visible. However, your battery test was more impressive: covering 10km with just 2500mAH while 1kg of battery is strapped on, 💪I definitely need to see that, can you please share?

At a perfect/mild windless day, i. Normally use 1000-1200 mah at 4km , 2500-2900 at 10km, all depending on the wind /wind direction, and how good im at the throttle and speed and altitude... The best i ever had was 2560 mah at 10km , with 12 mbps. Stock diversity antennas.

Hi. Unfortunately I gave away the Helion so I can't do a PID dump, but I will try to get a link from Iflight Europe for you.

I was on stock on both sides: with the stock Albatross antennas and stock DJI Integra you comfortably go further than that. I did 15km with a chimera and only turned back because I ran out of safe space to continue the flight.

@@Phoenix.- then its really good ! i did 23.4 km totally with the helion last week. with the 16ah battery from dark lithium. have goggles 2 osd from it !

But anyway, here is what you need. 1. 5.8Ghz U.FL to RP-SMA 90° pigtails you need 2 of them for the 2 antennas and they need to be 22cm long so that they can fit all the way. They must be 90° otherwise you will not have enough space inside for the straight ones. 2. BardPole 868MHz SMA (850MHz-890MHz) 28cm long If you live in Europe, if not: get one suited to your region (BARDpole 915 Mhz would be another). 3. A 20cm U.FL to SMA pigtail for the BARDpole. I'm going to wait for the goggles 3, I think thats a great idea, i didnt even know they were coming out, the cameras in the front will be a big deal. everything you said to do seems to be one of the options I can choose on the iflight site, and so I think ill follow your advice there a few questions though, the antennae, when ordering the helion 10 from iflight, one of the suggested extra purchases is 5.8 albatross 150 mm antanae. Should I get these too? also, and this is a aside question, its from a video I saw where he modded a helion 10 to get more range, and it looked like he put 3 antennae on it and they were longer, do you know what this is and would you suggest it? Would it be easy and cheap to upgrade to this? ok last question does that controller work for the simulators that I could run on my computer to learn how to fly?

Hi Pajdal Thanks for your question. The signal bandwidth is set at 20Mhz, ergo the 25Mbps you see. The channel is manually selection from whatever is best that's provided in the goggles. The choice of 20Mhz is a personal one: The 20Mhz setting is easy to read and predict (at 25Mbps you have perfect connection and at 0 you have no connection). This is always the case with the 50Mzh setting: sometimes you loose connection at 10 or 5 Mbps.

Hi The problem in my case was heavy interference from the village at the time of the test, has little to do with antennas chosen, they are usually just fine for 10 - 12km from home.
