In this video we show the modifications necessary in order to install the ProCharger Supercharger system on the RAM 1500. The RAM 1500 cooling system must be altered to make room for the supercharger, bracket, and belt. We show the procedure to drain the coolant, remove the thermostat housing, and move the cooling hoses out of the way before reinstalling the new hardware supplied by pro charger for this ram 1500 semi 5.7l truck.

Thanks Pat! Yeah it was pretty cheesy the way they make you bend that hose. I haven't seen any drips or leaks so far which is good but they should have provided a different hose or solution

When you say it's the v6 electric fan, are you implying that it is a fan for a v6 engine that has been installed in a v8 truck? If yes, why? I'll assume that it is going to be sufficient cooling a larger engine.

You probably already found your answer, but yes you can run the V6 fan and remove your clutch fan and the other fan (can't remember the name of it, but it sits in the shroud and is electric). It should bolt right up and plug in (with a little bit of "massaging" of the wire routing). You'll need a tune though to update ecu to turn on the fan at the correct times (or you can run the a/c and the fan will come on automatically as a low buck temporary solution). The newer fifth gen trucks don't come with the clutch fan at all on the 5.7 (IIRC). I'm in Arizona and paired the fan with the 180 thermostat when I was tuned. I haven't had any trouble here on the sun. LOL

Rich The catch can for the PCV valve catches vapors from the crank case ventilation so you don't gunk up your intake valves with higher mileage he will be draining and a different video. Watch his video where he installs it. General repair

Rich Haak yes you don't need one . Especially if you're not beating on it. there more for racing applications anyways.save your money 💰
