Modular Berlin School Jam 'All That's To Come' feat: Solina, Taiga, Theremin A178, ModelD, Hikari

Күн бұрынI realised I haven't published many actual musical performances with this latest expanded Berlin School rig, so given my tutorials don't really get a lot of engagement I will start to catch up with some works. I decided on this one to also use the two Doepfer A-178 THERemins, and of course integrate the Chaos (both were previous tutorials). I have done some internal tweaking to reduce interference on the theremins, which means I am getting to closer in using them fully melodically (vs just as controllers for filters etc). The Chaos is driving the kick but also Brains semi generative and gates to Keysteps arp clock. The rest of the rig is pretty basic as per previous videos, Hikari driving Taiga and 960 driving ModelD with all the various Clock Divs covered in tutorials too. I suppose the only other significant thing is the theremin driving West Pest in places and I switch the lead from the QuNexus to it many times ...

Love it. These Berlin style improvs and especially your Analog Four Mk2 jams have inspired me so much over the past few years. So much so I finally pulled my finger out and set up my channel. Next step is build a small modular set up.

It's worth noting that your tutorials get complete engagement with those of us who have wanted to learn more about modular (and A4 mk2 for me)... so many modular YT videos are tuneless, glitchy kinda stuff, with expensive modules... whereas your work is classic Berlin style and thats' what I want to make. I've already started acquiring... started with the West Pest !

@@gregmarshall1959 Thats very kind Greg - Agree somewhat that there are a lot of technical modular demos with not much 'tuneful' music, there are exceptions! Have fun as it is a journey and not a destination as such, although making pieces are certainly stops on the trip!
