You have only taken out the red wires from the switch and black wire was all the time connected to switch then at the end from where you got the extra black wire to insert in line?

Not sure if you can help but my current set up is 2 gang with one live wire which is daisychained to the other and, two neutral wires, I’m not sure how should I install it do join both the neutral wires and put it into N?

Only one neutral wire needs to be connected, you can combine two

Can I use both the switch and the app and can I remotely use this for example if I forget to turn off the lights when I leave home. And are they wifi compatible

For rocker light switch :press the switch button for 20 times(ON/OFF cycle for 10 times) until the beep sounds continuously and rapidly as Di-Di-Di... for pairing and reset mode.
