btw, if you decide to go Dehya for more comfort and interruption resistance, I def recommend not using her burst. It's a dps loss. She is really just there for E and swipe back.

LOVE LYNEY, he’s such a great character, I didn’t really used monopyro teams, but with him it’s godly. He’s so strong, mine does up to 160 k just using charged attack. Want to triple crown him, he deserves it! Thanks for vid!

Lyney and Lynette are both such cool characters lore-wise. Tbh so are all Fontaine characters so far.. I’m enjoying Fontaine so much after I had about a month of burnout! I’ll finish the desert someday but I’m really having fun with Fontaine

His playstyle vibe is very ayato. You just lay out whatever buffs there are in your team, swap him in, do the easy part. I’m saving for Neuvilette but Lyney has been tempting. Just finished his story quest and my lazy butt is intrigued. He’s basically pyro tighnari to me, but easier to build and play. And of course, very strong and solid dps, thanks to pyro.

Your hydroculi guide was a life saver

c4 yanfei is a good teammate for lyney for extra protection. build lots of hp and er, equip thrilling tales or prototype amber for a little more healing. OR you could replace kazuha with zhongli, sacrifing damage for even more protection

i think dehya is the easiest to use for interrupt res, but since i dont have her ive been using Tankfei on thrilling tales. Yanfei c4 is a life saver lmao and shes been great on my lyney team. i guess you could also use prototype amber on her as well if you want a little extra healing, but i think thrilling tales is a much better option for its atk buff.

I like the recent themes with the Fontaine characters and their ability to self sustain their HP in some way given the right playstyle. Like Lynette and sacrificial sword, or Lyney and the prop stacks. His C1 really makes his self sustain capabilities stand out even more than his base kit, given the additional prop stack every 15 seconds or so. In his base kit, the only way to get a positive income of prop stacks and not neutral is to use his burst to get one. Overall, I really like the Fontaine character's kit themes so far. They're all really good for solo character content with how they evidently could not care less for the meaning of HP.

Lyney is so fun to play and easy to make do high damage

I'm so happy I saved for him, originally it was because I liked his design but I ended up falling in love with his personality and gameplay. Happy to have him and his weapon, he's on copium artifacts and he does big funny numbers

I've been playing him in melt (because I can do what I want!) and NGL the speed buff he gets from his bow when you have theatric stacks, plus Rosaria, is pretty broken for exploration.

A bit more niche, but I love using C4 Yanfei (Tankfei) as the third pyro unit for Lyney, it performs fairly well and with a bit of ER on Yanfei it gets good uptime, you just lose out on a bit of Xiangling's damage for the survivability

A tip is that in teams with lyney kazuha XL bennet you don't need to stay on field with lyney for a long time, especially with C1, you only really need to do one Charge attack burst and then skill.

Lyney is very strong, but he needs some better supports like his current options aren't bad just not ideal

Just got my Lyney today!! He got a really cool combo skill and a very cute bird attack too! Can't wait to destroy all the new bosses with his big sword! 🎉🎉😊

Freakin love this character man. Through my testing, I'd say Lyney has a much higher damage floor than HuTao. Great for new players or players with shitty artifacts. Lyney will easily hit 20k-30k on literal garbage arts and level 4 talent. However I think Hutao's damage ceiling is a bit higher than Lyney. A maxed out HuTao vs a maxed out Lyney, HuTao will still dominate in single target damage. Not to say HuTao is better. As I think I actually prefer having lyneys on demand 2 burst AOE DPS. All in all, a really great character so far.

Even with 2 TERRIBLE artifacts at lvl 0 (just to get the 4pc stat), my Lyney is god mode on damage and one cycles robot chicken. I love him.

My team with Lyney is Xiangling, Bennett, and Zhongli, Xiangling does quite a lot even in non-reaction teams, plus the pyro res decrease and damage bonus are really good. Zhongli also has some resistance shred built into his shield and if you want, you can build him with archaic petra to get even more pyro damage bonus

I just got lyney today so after I'm done with bennet on to him Im so happy I got him and c3 lynette.

yeah it's annoying how bad this abyss is for lyney. it stayed the same because the reset was before the 4.0 update for asia servers, but they should have planned ahead and made it not terrible for him

I got him 30 pity first ten pull and then got c1 40 pulls later trying to get lynette cons. Im ngl hes super fun and more fun than i expected

I don't particular need a Pyro DPS but I may consider pulling for him on a rerun with how strong he is

I have him. I use him with bennet, dehya and sucrose (since I dont have kazuha). Using him with dehya is so comfortable. I guess you can swap Dehya with Xiangling, but I want interruption resistance

The artifact domain run for Moga has to be the most painful one in quite a while. (childe please I just need a good flower and sands why do you beseech me?😢)

Hey Moga. In Fontaine at Reputation Level 3 you get a gadget that is basically a trap for crystalflies. You get 15 crystalflies per week. It's not a lot but always something. I'm saying it because it really hurts when you have only 3 crystalflies.

Just for the team, I recommend using zhongli bennet Lyney and kazuha/xiangling because dehya doesn’t give any res shred, unlike zhongli, who gives better interruption resistance too

my lyney has wanderers trooper with 2k atk and 137 crit damage, the weapon is the rist level 80, he's level 80 with normal attack talent level 7, E lvl 6 and Q lvl 6, with bennet, xiangling and zhongli he does 28k first shot and 38k with the following attack, he's pretty op yeah

I love his charged and skill but, I have been getting better dps through using his ult. I’m using a really bad crimson set and yet I can constantly hit 47 k, my usual dps is around 10k on my dehya.

my hutao team is the strongest team I have so completing this abyss is a nightmare, but yesterday I realised that my hutao team is strong enough to finish the second half of 12-2 even without dendro/electro for the boss so you could probably do it with lyney too

I have C0R1 Lyney at 80/80 talents 8/5/7 2500atk and 75/250 crit ratio with 2pc Atk 2pc Crimson He just absolutely shreds everything like i tried highest nuke dmg for his burst skill combo and it was like 128k+345k from burst and 316k from following skill (On scara boss) So total like 750-800k dmg which i find insane since its a no reaction dmg

Technically lyney taleny priority is Na > skill = burst But it basically doesnt matter

I accidentally won Lyney when I was tryna build pity for Zhongli and I don't regret it. He's my favourite femboy. My sister played on my account and is impressed by the numbers that Lyney can do and she said she'll pull for him when he gets a rerun 😭
