My thoughts on wanderer are Layla, Diona, Thomas, etc. Basically people's complaints are he needs a shield and he needs specific elements. Just use a shielder that provides the necessary element. Zhongli isn't the only shielder in the game, so just bring someone else.

Don't worry Moga, this Abyss Cycle crushed almost everyone's soul. It's definitely one of the harder ones that Hoyoverse put out. God those Ruin Knights are such a pain to group up. Edit: Lmao I like how some people give advice to bring anemo as if it wasn't already obvious. But even with anemo, it's still annoying as heck when one of them stays on the other side of Narnia while his friends are walking towards your active character. Lol yes anemo, and Venti in particular, works wonders for that chamber but even with Venti they're still a pain to deal with. Anyways that Abyss rotation was easy to deal with using Hypercarry Raiden on 1st half and Yoimiya double geo on the 2nd half (which were the teams I used). The current 3.3 abyss rotation though, dear lord I hate those wolves. Why are the big doggos always tanky af.

Quick Thunder Manifestation tip: you dash through one of the walls that it summons, then go to the boss and it doesn't teleport away. In most of the cases, it works for me

Layla is way better for off field cryo than Qiqi, and she protects him with a shield too which helps cause he has like no resistance to interruption

Btw moga, you could've given him shimenawa reminiscence. The DPS difference between that and his signature set is literally like 5% -10% (which really isnt alot) It probably would've been better because you probably have much better shimenawa pieces. Also this abyss isn't great for wanderer imo and I don't think the next one will be either lol

People really recommend to run the Wanderer with a shield. In the taser comp that cam be circumvented by using Xingqiu, Beidou and Fischl, both XQ and Beidou have damage reduction and interruption reduction. Really fun team actually

I can't believe he didn't just put on a shimenawa piece. With artifact luck like that, I wouldn't have even second thought that.

I know that hoyo must have wanted Wanderer to not be too op by being able to avoid damage by floating. But having him not avoid anything by floating just makes him vulnerable as heck. Making dodging waste his stamina makes the problem even worse too.

One thing worth knowing is that when you’re hovering and get hit by an enemy, instead of waiting for him to drop and recover by himself you can dash, he will recover faster and it will not consume any stamina even if you don't have his free dash passive available

I have a suggestion: Layla with freeze wanderer is something I've seen a lot. You can even put him on 4 blizzard strayer which you'll have a better set for. If everything is frozen you won't be interrupted and Layla gives a shield that will last his whole E duration in the scenario you do get hit. Wanderer, Layla, Xingqiu, Yelan or Faruzan I think would make a good team

You can't switch mid air with any character. If you go to overworld and fly or drop, you'll notice can't switch characters. You should try that out in a video!

man, i was feeling proud of my wanderer, he is c0 w r1 signature weapon and has higher stats than mogas. then he did twice as much as mine and i remembered how important supports are.

Xingqiu is pretty decent for Scara over yelan. You get some off field damage, healing when it runs out and most importantly interruption resistance.

Benny works REALLY well with Wanderer. not only does Benny give heals and extra attack, but also Wanderer might be able to pick up some Pyro, further boosting attack. The team I use for him is Benny, Zhongli, Kazuha (i've trued Faru, she was in my OG comment, but i decided to change it because she wasn't giving as big damage without c6 or maxed burst) and Wanderer (ofc). it does pretty well, 25k+ damage I guess

I used Layla with him for cryo and shield. I also heard that Thoma Bennet Faruzan is good combo. Also try triple anemo with Kazuha and Benny it’s actually hilarious, but no shield means you need to be extra careful not to get hit. Wanderer is a funny dude so much options for his teams

I do also think that it is annoying without a shield but i think the reason of not being acustomed to his playstyle plays a big part in it. After using him for a bit it actually gets a lot better with the navigating

The artifact rolling part was way too relateable. but yeah, i think the pavillion set had like 5-10% difference. so you could try with 4pc Shimenawa or 2pc VV / DP and 2pc Atk +18 set. the resistance to interruption is a bit of a pain, but i usually use Thoma w/ Favonius lance + 4pc Emblem with him, since Zhongli is in another team

Fun fact: you can disable the aeonblight drake with xingqiu. I'm not exactly sure how to do it but I think you use xingqiu's burst to hit the center weakpoint during the missile attack(before the missiles are fired). The missile attack is one out of the two attacks the boss does when he starts flying

Your artifact rolls reminded me of when I was playing yesterday and I kept having more Crit rate over my Crit dmg and it was so bad and kept doing the most that I just rolled for his weapon. Now tryna farm for that to have a perfect Crit ratio.

If I can give any advice for the serpent knights, first 4 target the Pyro ones even if you only kill one in a rotation, the hydro (usually 1 but sometimes both) will run in for collateral. Second set of 4, go for the anemo and attack pushing him into the big one then go for the Pyro one. The big and hydro will be collateral.

At c6 faruzan is totally different with wanderer xaio and heizou mostly because at c6 she gives off field crowd control to them on their attacks so instead of ungrouping enemies they now group them allowing them to more effectively do their damage she also becomes a good battery, faruzan at c6 is an absolute no brainier with the 3 anemo dps characters we have so far

This abyss rotation is definitely harder than usual,i think it might be hardest since 2 years ago,primarily because of that stupid flying boss and I'm a mobile player,the domain need around 15s to load the enemies

Your Nilou team needs more off field dendro application so you can use Kokomi instead of Nahida on field. This will provide you with more healing and betters dodges (nahida very smol). Build your Kokomi with a ton of EM and HP. Swap Xingqiu for the dendro Traveller or Collei

why is it that you suffering for crit rolls felt so relatable ...oh wait the same thing happened to me but on a lesser scale last night and i lost my soul trying to roll ANY semblance of crit ..failed horribly every time currently forced to farm more since i came close but crit was avoided like the plague

Artifact system needs to change man like if I am gonna waste that much mora into it for rolls I don't even want then why even bother. I think they should definitely make it so we can spend more mora in exchange for getting a specific roll .

i havent built my faruzan so currently im running him with venti thoma and rosaria and honestly having fun! since wanderer is always normal attacking he refreshes thoma's shield real easy and thoma's shield is real sturdy! venti has amazing grouping and you'll be able to always hit the enemies and just rosaria's crit buff and then the wanderers own crit buff when swirling cryo is so useful. pyro and cryo are probably the best for his damage and you can easily swirl both with thoma and rosaria and get both buffs making him easier to build. none of them are particularly well built (rosaria is also only lvl 70) with the exception of my venti who is lvl 90 and built sub dps, but they're real fun

This abyss is pretty easy if you use International (Tartaglia, XL, Kazu, Benny) in the first half and Nahida hyperbloom in the second half

honestly just goes to show that even if you’re a whale, it doesnt mean the game automatically becomes easy for you 😂

I personally use either Thoma or Layla as a shielder for my Wanderer. They work well enough so that he’s not ping ponging around in the air

I feel like ppl need time with wanderer to get accustomed to his playstyle because I see alot of ppl struggling with him. Even before I decided to get his c2 I had no problems clearing either side of the abyss with him. He's the most fun I had in genshin since raiden first dropped a year ago.

You can actually aim for the center light of the aeonblight with xingqiu's rainswords to take him down. It's crazy there's actually a lot of ways to take it down without a bow user, even saw some with kazuha and yae.

Honestly, shielders from other elements are better for him - literally anyone, Thoma, Layla, Diona, even Beidou, since he buffs himself. Don't play him without a shield if you're struggling. You can get used to it and use his free spring midair to dodge attacks, but it's something to get used to. Also, if you have fast reaction time, you can actually ''save him'' from falling - the moment he gets hit, just press sprint or space and he will get himself back up right away, you don't have to wait for him to do so by himself. He's not Xiao, he wants some reactions, especially because of his buffs. Plus, Moga definitely has good Shimenawa artifacts, should've tried those, they work really good for him. Plus, if you're gonna use Faruzan (without having her C6), save yourself the pain of her charge attacks and just slap her with as much energy recharge as you can, personally running 285% with Fav bow to get more energy And this Abyss is pain, not only for Wanderer, but in general just painful

I run Wanderer with Rosaria, Zhong, and Benny its a really solid team, whenever I run out of Zhongs Shield while using him just evade a lil bit, whenever he has his passive on its really easy to evade and do dmg at the same time

I feel you dude, this past couple of patches it seems like the artifact rolls are incredibly bad, worse than before in comparison. I often get flat stats, roll into flat stats, and even if I do get double crit artifacts, the main stat is Def%.

A few tips and tricks that I’ve learned throughout playing genshin 1. If wanderer gets hits while in god mode use sprint to cancel his falling animation 2 don’t have a bow but a flying enemy? Easy answer!: wind blessed harpastum (the item sold by Marjorie) can knock down flying enemies if you hit their weak points Best team comp for wanderer in my opinion: faruzan , zhongli , ei and wanderer. Faruzan and ei support while wanderer attack and zhongli provides big Buffy shield

I’ve been running Bennett, Yelan and Diona with Wanderer and it’s great. Shields, heals, boosted damage - feels like a perfect team for him in my opinion

I think Layla is a good partner for Wanderer, her off feild cyro is great and her sheild isnt half bad when built right, I was thinking maybe a comp with Wanderer as the main driver with Layla, Faruzan, and then either xingqiu or yelan. Not only is freeze powerful but both the hydro/cryo buffs are really nice

I do C0Wandy, C6 Farzy, C3 Layla, and C0 Mona. Full freeze damage team with a really strong shield from Layla. I only have 3-4 stars artifacts and my max lvl is only just lvl50 but I deal 2k dmg from wanderer's normal attacks which is totally insane. The normal attack and charge spam of wandy is pretty op with farzy's buff

I would actually recommend shielded Thoma for Wanderer.

On my experience with wanderer, not abyss only open world, he rarely got hit even without a shield. Idk if this is a strategy or just his playstyle but I rarely sprint with him on the air, just when I hear the trim sound of his second passive, I can dodge the attacks just by keep moving with him (not sprinting), he can attack while moving forward, backwards, sideways etc, and I don't know of any other characters that can do that. Anyway, a shield helps with a bigger group of enemies and is probably necessary on the abyss In the end his playstyle has a learning curve, but you will get some fun results after learning his playstyle.

My wanderer(his set artifacts) team has been albedo (Tenacity set for att and shield boost..no dongli sadly) Benny (noblese/fav sword) yu jin(husk/fav spear) been hitting 20k constantly and 25k with trash sets on everyone but benny.. Constant shield up Time, everyone has burst

hey moga, i saw a team with scaramouche, faruzan (support scara), bennett (buff & heals) and thoma (pyro application, charged attack increase at c6 and shield to prevent scara getting hit). i think u should try it if u revisit scara, maybe when u get better artifacts for him

My team for him is Wanderer, Bennet, Xinqiu and Diona. Xinqiu and Diona for interuption resistance and healing. Bennet for healing and Buff and Big Hat Man for damage and slight swirl

I've been running kokomi + Layla + wanderer + whoever benefits the team most. Freeze with laylas shield and kokomis invincibility absolutely wrecks and its super satisfying. I pretty easily beat abyss even tho my layla is lvl 70 and my wanderer runs 2p viri and 2 atk%
