I get that as a German descendant as well. Their is more to this story though. For one theirs the Jewish role in slave ships. I feel exactly the same - sad and angry. I visited the Concentration Camp in Mauthausen with my class a few years ago. Mauthausen is the biggest Camp in Austria and i remember how uncomfortable and miserable i felt during my visit there.
