Truly a beautiful soul, I am yet to come across any controversy or any post or any news that said anything negative about the great Rafi saheb. His kind soul and innocent nature showed in his voice and he is the only one seems like he is smiling or crying in his songs, in my opinion no one comes even close. This kind sould has touched our lives and moved on....we are indeed fortunate that we have his immortal voice to cherish for generations to come.

But if God appears in my dreams and asks my last wish I would ask God to bring Rafi Saheb back on this earth even at the cost of my whole family. It happened twice for Manhar Udhas with the greatness of Mukesh ji. First for the 1969 movie Vishwas and the song was 'Aap se humko bichhade huye ek zamana beet gaya'. It was the very first song of Manhar and turned out to be a hit. Once singer Mukesh was not immediately available. So it was decided to dub song in the voice of Udhas and later on Mukesh would sing over it. When Mukesh heard the song he said that Udhas has sung the song perfectly and there was no need to record the song in his voice. Then it was 1973 movie Abhimaan and the song was 'Loite koi man ka nagar'. Manhar Udhas recorded the demo/cover for "Loote koi man ka nagar" and it was supposed to be sung by Mukesh; however Mukesh refused because he thought the demo sounded good and Udhas ought to be given a chance.
