Been ten years since I played God of War 3, but the only death in the entire series to bother me was Poseidon’s Princess. Kratos goes through hordes and hordes of innocent people, even in past games, but I dunno why this felt too much for me. Guess it was her poor state before that bothered me so much.

I would replace the ogre finishing move with the Wulver one instead or even the cyclops eye finisher from God of War III.

I'd say the Wulvers were the only deaths in GoW2018 that could be considered brutal honestly. Except for maybe the trolls, but they got overused.

For me, Magni and Baldr’s death hit more, because we see reactions for them. Think about it, Zeus had no reaction to Poseidon and Hades dying. But, when the Norse gods are die, we here Modi quiver in fear and get angry, and Freyja’s wails are downright haunting. That’s what makes it more powerful then any of the other. Kills

It’s a tied between Hercules and Kronos. The whole caving Herc face is truly badass and brutal, but the Kronos boss fight is truly disgusting and badass.

I love that you made a video on this game! God of war is my personal top favorite series and must agree that Hercules was a pretty brutal death hands down but so is pretty much every fatality Kratos does. You know in every game there will be some type of intense fate at some point and time.

Ever thought of doing a list looking through at the list of characters or people killed by Kratos and Atreus one or another that did not need to die. Such as the ship Captain, Posidon's Princess, Pandora, Greece, and possibly Baldur and Modi, to name a few.

Nah Athena will always stay in his head. He already killed Athena. I think he was battling Zeus in god of war 2 and Athena jumped in between Zeus and kratos and kratos accidentally killed Athena. Santa Monica needs a way to remind Kratos past and what better way than Athena talking to him. I liked that part if you have played previous god of wars you would like that too.

My favourite death was mount olimpus which was a titan it self named oblivios who was killed by the titan of dread goalius using his adapted armour and one punched the thing to picecs and killing the titan by stabbing the volcanic core shaped as a heart

Helios did had a major play in God of War. He referenced chains of Olympus where Persephone released Atlas to kidnap Helios so they could destroy the pillar that holds the world.

Get what I mean as oppose to another final king of gods boss, a satisfying, brutal ending with the prince of aesir. The one and only god worse than Asgard's king._

One of my favorites that isn't on the list is when you get to Gut ( Disembowel) the Centaurs in GOW 3! Brutal but very Satisfying! 😉 Yeah I know I sound slightly Disturbed.

@Bezdd Dakota you can get it if you beat the game on the Give Me God of War difficulty level, I think. You get 4 shields if you do it on NG+.

Haha I remember with the Zeus fight I didn't know I was supposed to stop hitting him so I kept tapping all the buttons for a few minutes after the screen went full-bloodied. Kratos kept hitting him so I guess the game was honest

Didn't even consider Poseidon's princess but yeah that was brutal and stone cold although what sticks in my mind is what Kratos did to his Grandfather Kronos! He doesn't just have Daddy issues he has Grandaddy issues! 😆🙄 Also what he did to Helios and turning his Brother Hercules's face into Hamburger!
