For this list, we'll be basing each character's inclusion on story elements and their feats, not just how hard they are to fight. Since we're discussing stories, a spoiler warning is in effect. I think Zeus was more powerful than Odin, but Odin was far more wise than Zeus which meant his powers were more effectively used. Odin also has a wider variety of powers. But overall in a 1v1 I would have backed Zeus to kill Odin

Zeus was corrupted by Pandora's Box, that's what changed him. Yet, he's still the Ultimate Unit of GOW. Do I need to remind how many times he survived being impaled by The Blade of Olympus. So in case of Odin vs Zeus... I'd still favor Zeus

@@jeepamir508 in a one on one fight yes Zeus would win. But put Zeus in the place of Atreus and Kratos for Ragnarok. It’s a long term battle of wisdom. Zeus would be crushed and Odin would probably disguise himself as Kratos, which would drive Zeus mad with fear once again

@@matthewpotter1365 Zeus from Ascension-GoW1 in his intellectual prime would see Odin and his cheap trickery coming from miles away. He has extreme pre-cognition powers with which he forsees any threats to his rule, including Ares and how he would kill Kratos with the pillar throw. Then he has Athena as his right hand who also can forsee the future, just as Apollo. Zeus in his prime, as shown GoW 1 Novel in an extremely wise and calcuting + near allmighty Skyfather, and Kratos has only ever faced his brute force version with Fear clouding his devine wisdom and strategical prowess.

He didn't defeat Surtr and lost to both Odin and Thor. You could also argue that Baldur is stronger than him in a leveled playing field

@@vlad_47 stig confirmed that fear zeus killed kratos even. charon has killed kratos too, gow3 intro sequence kratos was killed by zeus aswell, like he fell to death I guess.

While Odin was indeed the more mischevious and plotting guy we also cannot forget that it took Kratos', Freyas' and Atreus' combined efforts to take him down! In terms of physical strength he also managed to overpower Kratos. His strength combined with his intellect & cunningness most definitely makes him one of the most formidable foes ever!

Lol, Kratos was holding back over 90% of his true strength in order to avoid channeling the "monster" that he used to be in front of his son as well as the people he's gained trust and rapport with. Kratos would have destroyed Odin like he did to Ares.

Zeus managed to avoid his fate as seen with the Metis prophecy. Something Odin cant ever achieve. There isnt even any real fate in the Norse realms, just 3 old hags who predict everything because of how primitive and dumb the norse gods and giants apperantly are.

gaia is the titan that brought back kratos from death, gaia is literally the titan of earth, baldur was probably going to live forever if kratos didnt kill him, also felt nothing while kratos was beating his ass, hades is literally hell, he is strong asf and can trap anyone in hades, Athena had trust and respect by everyone, and when she died she went to a higher existence but can still go back to earth to help and taunt Kratos , she is the only god that actually survived after death.

I think Kratos story has come to an end. Unless its a prequel, between Greece and Norse stories. Otherwise im not too sure.

8:37 How does that simple knife stops Thor ? He literally gets cut by levithatan axe constantly while fighting and does not even cover his wounds ever. So how can that simple knife end this battle. Because i know Thor did not run out of stamina, no matter what he looks.

He is a daimon god of peaceful death. Primordial but of lower significance and power than the first generation Protegonoi like Nyx and Gaia. But in GoW hes a full primordial god.
