Yes.. Is it possible to fund a year long operation? A few weeks isnt enough time. You'd have to be very lucky. I can go outside and hear coyotes very close, but seeing one is extremely rare. We're talking about a mostly aquatic animal. We need teams in several locations for a year or more during all seasons to get more evidence.

About 25 years ago, there was an explorer from Alberta Canada that was selling dvd's of an expedition he was on, This dvd showed tracks of an unknown beast in the swamps and indication of leaves eaten in the trees about 18 feet up. Whatever this was seemed to have some sort of digging claw as I recall.

His name is Brian Sass, from Saskatchewan. He and I went to Cameroon in 2003, and he returned in 2004 with biologist Peter Beach. They filmed their trip along with the footprints and other signs that the animals were foraging among the trees on an island in the Dja River.

I believe you as a veterinarian from India who got an opportunity to work in remote parts of India and Nepal in wildlife rescue having seen certain undocumented animals in existence in real life..... It is always possible to discover a new species. But it is also hard to document it and share evidence of it to the world, even if you have a camera around your neck at all times because you have a very narrow window of opportunity to find the animal but still the animal usually moves away too soon to be photographed. So all the best to future luck. We are here for you. You will achieve it some day.

@@gumpyflyale2542 I knew pastor Thomas and his wife, Sandy. Sadly, they are both no longer with us, but he did tell me that he had two pygmies in his church in Impfondo that were present at the killing of a Mokele-mbembe at Lake Tele in 1960. By the time I first met Pastor Thomas in 1985, the last of the pygmy witnesses had passed away. There are many myths, legends, and fables that spread across different cultures. It's the same with bigfoot. That doesn't give this creature any credibility what so ever. The animal being sub aquatic spending time in bodies of water, depictions of it dragging it's tail on the ground. Those are early traits that scientist thought about sauropods that have long been debunked. Those tracks have long been identified as rhino tracks. 12 sittings from 1910-2010 isn't much. Bigfoot has way more than that. I'm seriously not trying to be a dick here but, come on.

What happened to the idea of setting up tree cams around lake Tele? Also wouldn’t the body of one of these creatures be seen at some point. Given its toxicity to being eaten, would they simply rot leaving some bone evidence?

Let me put it this way: these dinosaur type creatures very much exist, but there is a lot more to this than just an undiscovered species of animal. Like I said, I may discuss it someday, possibly on my death bed to avoid living with the ridicule of my fellow naive peers.

You can email me at mokelehunter@gmail.com. All accounts that come my way are treated with the strictest confidence, and names and places are often changed to maintain the anonymity of the source at their request. A missionary family observed a gigantic flying reptile that passe over them when they were travelling up a river in Venezuela back in the 1990s. They later picked out a picture of Quetzalcoatlus Northropi as a dead ringer for the monster. They reckoned that it's wingspan was at least 50 feet! Needless to say, their identities have not been disclosed to maintain their privacy.

It's amazing that all these tribe members depict M'kele M'beme (in their own unique languages) as the same type of elusive-unidentified animal living in more than several different places throughout Africa. Unless the majority of these tribesmen people can speak multi languages (communicating with other different tribes throughout Africa), I don't see otherwise how else these people can draw out the exact-same, dead-on physical description of this elusive cryptid animal, especially if they can't successfully vocal communicate with each other. That kind of thing is almost unheard of. That should tell us something right there. M'kele M'bembe (in a way) is kinda like the even more elusive bigfoot: the only thing you find for the most part are their foot tracks. Thing is though, what M'kele M'beme has going for it is it's territorial behavior. 'Cause unlike the sasquach, this thing has actually fought things like dangerous hippos and there are reported human casualties by this animal's extremely violent nature. In contrast to what some of us Americans believe regarding Bigfoots existence, there are things in Africa happening around M'kele M'bembe being reported from time to time... layed out by a series of (in some cases) life changing events, in which case is providing us proof of something being out there that's the cause of matter. Footprints drives the imagination wild, but they're not the deal breakers to eliminate any doubt that these criptid animals exist... they can be composed by fakers and mislead the public... which is about all you ever see of sasquach and they're not all connected to any event matter... nothing that would lead the majority of Americans to belive in Bigfoots existence, the way these tribe members throughout Africa belive in M'kele M'bembe is for real. I dunno if M'kele M'bembe is a lost dinosaur, but something is out there in Africa. Someone just needs to get a full visual documentary and have it fully recorded within some database, to establish M'kele M'bembe as either a new indignious species, or a living fossil unchanged since ancient times. Only instead of just scrimaging around & hoping to find something rare 'en different, I would recommendly suggest for anyone to stick around for a more prolonged period of time ( just a week or two in Africa isn't enough to cut it), 'cause the locals living there are the only ones who truly know what it is visually and they're the one's who see's the M'kele M'bembe on occasional occurances.

Great video Bill. I agree with you it’s unlikely that it’s just myth. It’s hard enough to get more than 2 or 3 groups of people in the world to ever agree on anything let alone as many different tribes & languages as this would take. I have loved anything & everything dinosaur related since I was a child. I really enjoy your work & your channel. As much as I would love to know if the creature is indeed real & does still exist in a way I hope it’s never really found because almost certainly someone would want to hunt & kill it. I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times. 78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways. 81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times. 88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders. 92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come; and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified. 99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations." 102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75 /////////////////////

You are not alone in your skepticism. However, I take my hat off to Michel Ballot, who has remained doggedly on the trail of Mokele-mbembe with over 26 expeditions under his belt. There is little doubt that these animals are rare and move around, but Michel has found the large, three-toed footprints that match description dating back almost two hundred years, plus the list of western eye-witnesses who have observe these (and other) similar animals in remote parts of the world. And thank you for your subscription, it is very much appreciated!

@cryptohunt2552 and that automatically debunks it right there sauropods did not leave tracks like the ones you described. Their tracks were more similar to those of an elephant. We know this because we have preserved sauropod track ways, such as those in Glen Rose Texas to look at and examine.

Hope you succeed in your mission it was revealed recently China had discovered live dinosaurs in uncharted lands not to mention people seeing them in Arctic, Australia and other places alluding to they never went extinct just got rarer and the rulers of the world know about their existence and other creatures that's my guess anyway I've got a feeling it will all be revealed soon

Excellent video, those tracks look promising! Did you know there's a heavyweight fighter in the UFC from Cameroon? He's basically the champ because no one can really beat him. Anyway, I'm a bigfoot guy, so I have no problem believing there's dinosaurs out there still. It wasn't until 2003 they discovered a bipedal 5.5ft ape and recently they discovered a tapir as well. It would be stranger if everyone was making such things up in my opinion. Heck it's not just this dinosaur that people are seeing either, there's quite a few different ones in different parts of the world. Stay safe and good luck!

Not really giving it much mind while listening to this until it dawned on me that in my language, Assyrian; the verb 'to stop' sounds a lot like Mokele. The name Mokele Mbembe which means 'he who stops the flow of rivers' in Assyrian in the masculine form of the name would be Makleh Mianeh which literally means 'he stops waters'

The celacamph was supposed to be extinct as well, fishermen are still catching them. Nothing is impossible especially in a habit that few humans live. The area is so vast, that sightings are probably rare. Given their size, like elephants, they'd need to eat a lot of vegetation daily, I believe they will film this one day. The same with big foot, with all the drones out there now, it's just a matter of time.

Let´s say you actually photograph or film a Mokele Mbembe. Do yo think that should be enough to prove anything? Unfortunately, not..... there are several bigfoot movies, one of them VERY good (Patterson´s movie), and debates about the authenticity still go on. To prove the existance of Mokele-Mbembe, by photos or movies, they HAVE to be extremely good. Several minutes of footage, with zoom in and out, several EXCELENTE pictures. Blurry photos or grainy videos will be worthless. That´s why I think Mokele Mbembe will not be OFFICIALY discovered by explorers... bigfoot are, in theory, scattered almost in ALL North America, in enviroments much much "easy" to walk and film, compared to tropical forests of Africa. By the way, several bigfoot encounters, movies and photos were taken at places VERY close to local residents, for CENTURIES. How could be possible such many many bigfoot (it HAS to be more than one!!!) are never captured by hunters, photographers, tourists, national park guards etc. etc... all with hi-tech portable cameras???? Imagine the difficult to catch on film a Mokele-Mbembe, in the swamps of Equatorial Africa.... compare to much easy to "catch" american bigfoot... and they never succeeded. What tiny hope do we have to catch a Mokele-Mbembe? Sorry guys, but I don´t think a group of very few people, going to ONE point of vast Equatorial Africa, for a few days, once in a while, will catch some elusive animal like Mokele-Mbembe, in video or photo.... Sorry for my poor English :)

Personally, I'd love it if you were the first to prove its existence to all of us. I strongly believe that if enough people swear they have seen something, then there has to be truth to the sightings. If The Mokele-Mbembe is 100% real, then it will need 100% protection.

To go to Africa is to appreciate the incredible vastness, and to witness large animals living in extreme proximity to man - Nairobi National Park is one such example. There is no doubt there is room for a large extent sauropod in the Congo basin, or a creature that looks similar. I hope to be permanently situated in East Africa within the next couple of years, and will be investigating living dinos more closely.
