Traci, I am having so much fun with those foam marshmallows! I have used buttons, a slice of a walnut shell, a small-grid plastic box, kitchen implements -- I just love the results I am getting. Next I am going to try bobby pins. My husband does woodworking and metalworking; can't wait to get into his shop to find more things to stamp. Great tutorial -- thanks very much.

wouldn't using wood offcuts instead of things like rubber flip flops give better results ?

Also, all flip flops have a texture already…so how do you get that out so it doesn’t print.

You're using the top of the flip flop--most of them don't have a texture on that side.

What is that kind of foam called? I would like to get some big pieces for a nature project.

I'm not sure. I have only discovered objects made out of the foam that work.
