He heard her the previous year and was so impressed with her that he gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow so she could attend the equivalent of Julliard, where she is currently studying. Diana has said that she doesn't want to just sing the words of a song, but wants to sing from inside the song, which you have commented on so well. The bald headed guy is Igor Kotoy who is Diana's mentor. He is also guiding Dimash's career. Diana, as a true rare Dramatic Contralto, is becoming a National Treasure. Kotoy bought her and her adopted Mom a home in Moscow (I believe Moscow is correct), so that she is closer to her education and music. He also supports them as needed.
