Ok, so here is an example of when things dont go as planned and then you have to improvise LOL! I really like the thin stick and the designs that it made from swirling those little curly designs! As always, just experimenting and having fun as I paint!
Canvas is 20x20 in
Pouring medium: floetrol/gloss medium and varnish/gac800 ratio: 50/30/20

Ok, NOT a tweezer pour 😂 but I am so glad I wrecked it with the skinny stick! The lines are so cool and there is potential for some great designs that can be more deliberate! Happy painting guys!

This is beyond gorgeous. This is a must try. If it works for me then I’ll change that to a must do. I don’t know why I think of Saturn’s rings. It’s much more than that. It is definitely much fun to just play sometimes and look at what you have. Stunning.

@@MOLLYSARTISTRY I just had to watch this again and it's just as fascinating as the first time! Honestly, you could have stopped anywhere in the process and it would still be amazing. I loved it right after the pour (before any wrecking), I loved every single stroke with the stick (you literally could have stopped at ANY stroke and it would have been beautiful!), I was a little worried when you started stretching that the center would get lost, but it worked out perfectly. I just can't tell you how much I love this thing! And it's odd because I'm not normally an "abstract person"; I tend to prefer "realistic" pictures, but this one just speaks to me! And I LOVE your whole attitude, LOL! Go with the flow: Oops, messed up there - try something else. Don't like how that's looking? Use the stick instead! You're a really inspiring artist!

I love it too, you are so cute with your comments and excitement. 1 way to not get paint on/in your rings...take them off...I never wear mine when painting. I am gonna try this circle stick technique today. I can only hope it turns out as good.

Ha....I love it. You should definitely experiment more. I run my knife or stir stick through pours even after tilting..makes for cool effects.

So a few days ago I was asked to do some demos for each age group at my preschool. One of the techniques I showed was the ring pour and wrecking it. The 4 yr olds loved it!
