I think they are great and can be used to get kids out of locked cars in the summer as well, or help someone having a med emergency in a locked car. Several ways to save a life with these. I don't leave home without one.

great tool, much easier then the traditional hammer. If you don't have any get something. Keep this in a place where you can actually reach it when fully pinned in your seat with a locked, super tight seatbelt. Becaus that might happen if the airbags and seat belt tensioner get activated.. I once put a car in a shallow water, that was a 1-2 second mistake. All in all I was lucky.

The only problem could be laminated side windows - Those are MUCH harder to break than tempered glass and my guess is the tool wouldn't work on them.

They got a light on them buy chance? U should do a glow in the dark color to like a small one u can keep on yer rearview window or in the car wear it gets lots of sunlight to stay glowing or have it totally clear plastic with a button or a pull cord that makes a light go on and light up the tool

Currently, no light. Glow in the dark technology isn't as advanced as many assume. Personally, I would find it very distracting to have something glowing in my truck when I am driving.

Hi this is a must have for me, I travel a lot on busses and publick transport, every kid must have it. Now the down side of the product is, it will be used in crime. Yes I see everyone buy and sells it in the future. Question is, can it also break window glass? In floods people gets trapped in their houses, no escape, yes this tool is the future

there are 2 types of car windows: tempered glass and laminated glass. tempered glass is what's shown in this video. If you damage it in one spot, the whole sheet turns in to 1000's of pieces. Its commonly found in SIDE and REAR windows. If you ever need to break a window, go for one of these windows. The glass should be weaker near the corners of the window, if you have no luck in the middle of the window, try another spot. Laminated glass is found in the windshield. It is composed of 3 layers, glass, tough plastic and more glass. This type will not shatter completely when chipped and is extremely difficult to break through. You can unfortunately not break it with this tool, you would require an axe or a special saw-like tool. Some luxury cars have laminated windows all around, because it keeps out noise better. I do not know if they have the same plastic core as used in windshields.

you got to love a lady 'JUMPING out of her skin' not just a first time but a second time even though she expects the window to break - my funniest experience of a lady dealing with the noise of a jet engine was to step back a few feet into me while i was trying to film, stupid, as if a few feet will make the slightest difference when standing close to a jet engine going to 60% thrust sadly this jumping, shock, and failing to deal with the situation is very likely why so many ladies probably fail to get out of a sinking car, i wish there was a way to teach ladies to deal with this in many situations
