Jennifer Stately, 35, is accused of stabbing two of her sons before setting their Minnesota home ablaze and fleeing with her third son. The 3-year-old was rescued within an hour of an AMBER Alert being issued. You are just speculating wildly. First, she did harm the 3rd child. This may have nothing to do with how she feels about the father. Finally we don't know if she did this in cold blood or not. But it's terrible what she did to those poor kids.

I have a child and another on the way. I tell childless women all the time "if you don't want children, that's perfectly fine!" Some women seems so surprised when I say that. Many women are so grateful to hear it, because most of society pressures us. Not all women should have children. And that's ok, if you're one of those women.

My first day working as a 1st responder on a rez, we were called to put a screaming 3yr old boy on a backboard because his father threw him down the stairs and his drunk mommy allowed it. Got more love for the casinos and alcohol than children on a rez.

Something bad happened to a child on a reservation, and the system in place (first responders) "took care of" the child's immediate need. OP did not address adult alcoholism. (There may be programs in place, on some reservations, to offer treatment for alcoholism; but, as anywhere else, adults must _choose_ to benefit from treatment.)

Yeah this is a huge problem on the reservations. I know kids that were hidden and passed around to keep the kid so their abuser could remain in contact. Not to mention the lack of reporting in general. I get it because of the history of trauma with the government but you can't just turn a blind eye to abuse.

"You could pull over .." well honestly the only police on a reservation are normally tribal police and until recently they weren't allowed to do anything to NON rez members. The issue in Oklahoma is not the same since the rez land was recently acknowledged and now has other cities on it where most rezs are rural with no other cities and therefor not other police. If you are a rez member and you get pulled over on a federal highway you still go to jail. The issue on the rez is that they have different laws. Now child murdering and arson are both crimes. As for why no one noticed the neglect that is because most abuse goes unnoticed until a child is old enough for school. So the youngest being so skinny makes a lot of sense. Abuser frequently pull their kids out of schools and switch Drs frequently. If the Dad or "dads" were active in their kids lives they could have seen the signs though. That is why 2 parents are so important even if they don't live together. RIP poor little kids and I hope she gets the heaviest penalty.

The "expert," Ayers amassed more than two dozen excessive force complaints while he was with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office before resigning last year, according to counseling reports and disciplinary files between 2006 and 2018. Ayers was reprimanded for jokingly pulling a knife on an investigator while the two were waiting to serve a search warrant on March 8, 2012, according to the counseling report. The joke turned sour when the investigator drew his gun to force Ayers to put the knife away. Chad also advocated for introducing more weapons into schools through arming teachers and staff. Ayers was noted to have used his Taser excessively. Ayers later told investigators who reviewed the incident that he couldn’t remember how many times he used the Taser due to “tunnel vision.”

Crazy how she neglected these children but based on the pics of her made sure to take care of herself 😒🙄. Not true about police not being able to arrest tribal members from reservations. I know that fon du lac police work together with county and city police. If a member of this reservation is driving with drugs and a city police officer pulls them over they will be charged. And if a non member is driving on the reservation with drugs they will be charged also. Red Lake I'm pretty positive is the same way.

Red lake Indian reservation is a sketchy, crime ridden area. Wouldn’t be shocked if she was either high or severely mentally ill or most likely all of the above.
