MOM OF 8~DOLLAR TREE HAUL ~ Christmas Edition 😉😋

7 ай бұрынMy husband and I have been doing a kids group for 27 years, I like to make treats for them every week to bring to our program and I like to make a small presents just so they know that I love them and I’m praying for them and it’s just something that they can take home and be excited about.
So we headed into dollar tree to look for some small things to put in their buckets and we did a hot cocoa theme, as I begin to look for small things to put into the buckets I noticed all the really cool Christmas treats and stocking stuffers. They have so many cool things I was super excited and of course I got carried away. The candy canes were absolutely amazing. I couldn’t believe all of the flavors they had. I haven’t even seen these flavors in any of the other stores.
The cool thing about dollar tree is that they do have so much backstock because I think people just love that store and when you find a deal like that you want to stock up just in case it’s not there the next time. Because I notice with dollar tree they might have a product one week but in a totally different product the next week. So I’m really loving this store. I have some other ideas on how to highlight dollar tree with a big family so look forward to that. It might include a big family meal All from dollar tree to feed our family of 10. 😉
I’m trying really hard to search out other stores to provide our family with meals and other items. I tend to get hooked on going to Walmart in Meijer when there’s so many other local stores, small shops, and thrift type stores that sell really cool things too. And I’m absolutely loving, exploring more businesses in our area

I think I got food poisoning the day after Christmas from eating a piece of Ghirardelli peppermint bark that came in a hot cocoa/travel mug gift set. That was the only thing I ate that morning and no one else got sick so I'm pretty sure that was the cause. I don't think it came from Dollar Tree (probably Walmart), and I think the expiration date was fine, but it did feel a bit different before I opened it, and it looked like it had some bloom on it which in hindsight should have been a warning sign, so I'm guessing it was probably old. I'm guessing regular chocolate/candy would be safe because people will still buy it at the end of the season, but gift sets might be more likely to go from year to year and might not necessarily be stored properly.

My MIL used to put those mints out at Christmas too. She was such a sweet lady oh how I miss her. Holidays are such good times to remember those we loved and what they brought to our lives.

I get my cards at Trader Joe’s! They are $1 and so cute and nice quality. I grab a handful every time I go and keep them in a little box for when I need them! I’ve even used some of them as art and framed them!

Yes those candy cane spoons have been out awhile, Walmart carries them to! And, yes Walmart used to carry all kinds of flavor of candy canes, they haven’t been doing it so, much since the COVID PANDEMIC HIT, cause, I’m one I grew up loving rock candy and stick candy with the different flavors, well, my kids loved them just like me and, I always would get several different flavors of candy canes! The blue raspberry, flavor is always a big hit, you know the same exact flavor we would get in a slushy!

I was at dollar general and they had many flavored candy canes. The orange creamsicle, the movie elf candy canes which were maple syrup, cotton candy, and cocoa. I’m going to dollar tree because I want the cold stone creamery flavors.

This apple sauces have been recalled!!! The cinnamon in them has lead in it. I gave them to my baby and just found out about the recall. Not sure if the ones you got have the cinnamon or not but double check.

Of all the large families that do these videos, you’re the only ones that show you do it for underprivileged kids. That is a shame because they probably get $20-$30,000 each month by exploiting their adopted kids. Another thing that makes me so angry about these large families is when they buy expensive purebreds instead of going to the shelter and adopting a dog. by going to the shelter and adopting a dog is showing how wonderful adaption is because both were so special through this adoption of both the kid and the dog

You realize that whether or not you buy a purebred dog or buy a dog at a shelter, it's still adoption, right? Unless your own dog had the puppy, you adopt it once you buy it. Also, buying a dog from a shelter when you have a bunch of kids, isn't the best idea. Most of these dogs have trauma and bringing them into an overstimulating environment is just asking for the dog to lash out and hurt someone. Then the dog gets put down. Sometimes you have to think logically instead of making a foolish choice just so that you can virtue signal.

@@jhart10 no the difference between a pure bred dog and one out of the shelter is the fact that people like crazy pieces paid $3000 for their dog. A dog from the shelter in terms of adoption is more special than getting it from a pure breed. There are dogs in no kill shelters that been in cages for at least a year or more.a purebred dog is going to be sold to someone that is willing to pay for the high price of a dog from a breeder

@@gregramirez2935 Literally none of that had anything to do with what I said lol. I think it's great that people buy dogs from shelters but it's usually not a good idea for large families. If you look at my local no kill shelter, the majority of the dogs are listed that they can't go to homes with children. Kids can be overstimulating for dogs especially for dogs with trauma. It isn't fair to these dogs to throw them into a family with a bunch of kids.

Seening they live in the up of Michigan prices are definitely going to be different except dollar tree. Most states that Walmart is in sells liquor and beer Texas doesn't. So go on back to the Dd family with that bs. And yes dollar tree is $1.25 for everything now and have some other stuff for 5 bucks now so check yourself with that. And yes I have delivered to Walmart stores and dollar tree so with your little price checking think about this every state is different and prices and Michigan is a hell of a lot more than TX so is the west coast and north east you must live in Missouri where there's no tax on cigarettes and your taxed on food
