It's amazing the size of the food the nestlings can swallow. The grasshopper was at least half the length of the one to which it was fed. When are we going to see the Mynas again? It's been weeks.

1st birds are weird af 2nd why did the mother eat the baby's poop??

At least in some species, the digestive track of the nestling is so short that not much of the food is actually digested so the parents sometimes eat the poop to help make sure they get enough food themselves.
