Love the black saree, Tina!! And I definitely like the green dupatta better than the pink one. You have two winners! Excited to see the other outfits you put together. It is so stressful when family weddings come around...you need so many outfits and the closer the family, the less likely you can repeat these in family settings. And there end up being very few other events where you can wear these heavy ethnic outfits. Have fun though-- family weddings are always a good time! :)

The green for sure!!! That black Saree is stunning!!! They were all beautiful though but green with white and the black are the winners in my book!!! It's so awesome to be so connected to your culture and heritage. That is not something I have as a Black American who doesn't have generations in the last 3 or more from Africa. But, I'm very proud of what Black Western and America.culture has made out of nothing and how so many all over the world has loved it. But anyway, they all looked good!!!! Lol.

The thing that made these work for you is your excitement, your happiness to feel good in each one. Now I'm watching this again, and smiling with you! I'm with you, I get your emotions during your journey today. My daughter helped me unpack all my saris, langhas, and punjabi suits, and even the ones from my mom (who has since passed away). What a trip down memory lane with every outfit! I tried out several, some unsuccessfully, and a few still do fit. I had an extra special moment though, when my 11 year old tried on a few as well.... and some old bridesmaids dresses that are in pristine condition. I still have my wedding langha too! I feel blessed and grateful too, to see wanting to try my clothes. Wish my mom was here to experience this with us, but I must thank you for making me feel validated today, cause I was feeling a bit blue at first. You are a brave, beautiful person, whose honesty with being a mom, a woman, a human, is a journey, and sometimes a rollercoaster, and it is all ok to just own things as is, in the moment. I prefer the pink dupatta over the green because the pink dupatta is not see through so it pops more with the white suit! However, you did say that you have worn the pink one before so the green is a good second option. Or maybe you can look for another dupatta from your other old suits because white matches with anything! For instance, a phulkari dupatta would look great with a white suit and would be great for a jagoo/sangeet event but not sure if you have a phulkari dupatta at home. You can also try borrowing from your mom if possible because they always have a ton of suits and any dupatta could match! Loved the video btw! 🥰🫶🏽

Hey Tina! I love the black sari!!! I understand how not fitting into any Indian outfits...the clothes are so unforgiving when you gain a little.. Go with the pink dupatta with the white..it will definitely pop more the bright color than the green.

With the black sorry in future you could easily just buy a crop top, that is plain to switch out the look without having to spend that much money or time on it.

I like the black saree, i do think that you can invest in some new sarees as they are a one time investment and are timeless and as you said the blouse can always be adjusted.
