@@MomentofZenPodcast how did y'all end up in touch with Marc? I saw one with Balaji Srinivasan, too, guessing a friend of a friend? It was interesting to hear so much about SBF and CTX, sounds like he was even more of a crookish shark than a lot of these founder stories you hear about, not just to his customers but to his cofounders and engineers as well

Actually pretty good. One suggestion is an intro into who each person is and their background. Other than Marc and Antonio the others are unfamiliar.

Hi guys, nice job! In response to the discussion at the end, sure maybe the laptops will have sufficient hardware for actually performing some training and inference, but to actually make good models you need so much training data that it's not going to fit on a local machine, the cloud will inherently have to be involved. More likely imo you can deploy the trained models on the machines themselves just to perform inference.

I love a type of podcast like this with high level VCs with more crypto experience, I'm interested in their view on cryptos future and if these are the type of people that are trying to shove as much tradfi into defi as they can or do they actually care about the ethos and spirit of crypto.

@59:27 - The number of people who watch video versus read text to find information is a HUGE moat for Google Search. GPT is valuable, but can only find what has already been created (trained data sets) - Being able to search voice or text to search for a specific section inside of every video on KZfaq... That's a game changer for search.

I'm inclined to believe almost everything available in video/voice is also available (usually at higher quality) in text someplace. Maybe it would change some game I'm not paying attention to.

Social media should go the way of email - stable standards, multiple providers, you either accept ads OR you pay for it, many ways to discover who to follow but once you've got their 'address', you get whatever they put out and filter it yourself or have someone filter it for you as a service.

Binance just processed something like 4 billion of withdrawals over a four day period, how can an exchange that's not above board accomplish that, all these guys have huge stakes in competitor's so in would take alot of what they say with a grain of salt
