I don’t know what it is but I love hearing old organs and those squeaky keys in the background with the rustling Leslie. This kid is truly special
@organbuilder2725 жыл бұрын
Mark, This thing is only an organ in name. It has no pipes and sounds like a glorified theatr organs. Were that not bad enough, the On Off tremulant....If you want to see "Truely Special" people see Alexander Malofev or Ivan Bessonov. They too are 16 years old and prforming on world famous stages. Regards, killing - who is he killing. If he is killing people why is he being to promoted. This is theater organ style playing. Let's hear the Guilmant's Sonata #1. or Franck's A minor Choral.

The thing I appreciate most about this young man is his love and respect for God first, ministry, his Parents, the ones that cultivated his skills and lastly his God-given ability. His humility and spirit of excellence is phenomenal and I appreciate a young musician with class, especially those that still play in suits. I'm a female drummer and I grew up playing in dresses and heals as a kid, I worshipped on those drums and I played with all my heart. I never expected a dime, I was just thankful, I never had a formal lesson, I just sat listened and watched, and then I played. God bless this young man and the furtherance of his gifted ministry!

However, I must say that it’s a shame that more churches do not recognize or appreciate GOOD, HUMBLE on time musicians in many of our black churches. When this young man becomes more mature, I pray and hope that he will teach and instruct other young musicians that are starting out. Churches need good musicians like this young man. Cameron Ross I’m a musician. I know this. What I meant was not to point to specific people this young man should mimic! Of course he will listen and be influenced by others but I was talking about just throwing names at him and suggesting he pattern his playing after them. Think about how that has stagnated music in the church. I go hearing the same jazzy runs or pretentious chords or overplayed licks that can make one sick after a few bars. I mean every individual is an individual and should play and sing instinctually especially in church. I can mimic the best but when I praise and worship, it’s unmistakably ME standing in the need. God knows it’s me. The people know it’s me. I’ve learned how to shoot from the hip no extras to impress or tickle the ear of the human soul in need but to magnify the Eternal Host of Heaven who can meet the need. Hope that helps.
