@@saoodalhammadi6072 i'd recommend you to learn some trig first, learn the unit circle, and also try and understand how vectors work, it'd make understanding why a lot easier. essentially the sine works in the y axis, and the cosine in the x axis, though the only way to really understand this would be to learn the math first

ESZQCYHNMKO EWK Before medical science discovered how the circulatory system functioned, people believed that a vein ran directly from the fourth finger on the left hand to the heart. Because of the hand-heart connection, they chose the descriptive name vena amoris, Latin for the vein of love, for this particular vein.

how are you writing backwards throughout the whole explanation?
@Joe0x7F5 жыл бұрын
You can also solve this problem using the conservation of the velocity of the center of gravity. In this particular problem, the initial center of gravity will be at a point in the 3rd (or 2nd) quadrant, on a straight line connecting m1 and m2, but also on a straight line connecting the origin. Notice that the COG point will always be at the fraction m1/(m2+m1) of the total shrinking distance between m1 and m2, away from m2. If you connect this initial center of gravity point with a straight line that passes through the origin, the COG point will always have the exact same velocity vector on this line, before and after the collision, passing right through the origin and into the 1st (or 4th) quadrants. It is very interesting (at least to me) to solve these problems with both conservation laws.
