OMG Muslims! I thought the girl was like 10 or something until it said she was 5. Because there's no way a 5 year old can write that well in reality unless she was a genius or something. When I was 5 I was still learning my ABCs. Lol Nevertheless, it's a fucked up story. Even worse is that things like this happened back then and STILL do. It's just a bit harder for people to get away with it because of autopsies and shit. I think wherever someone dies no matter what it should be mandatory to perform an autopsy.

Michael Sorbello: Horror Stories don't think that existed in 1945. Even now, it's not very effective (not to say CPS does no good, but it seems like they take kids away from homes that they don't want to leave , and, from my experience with my mom calling CPS for my friends with abusive guardians, don't do anything about actually dangerous homes /: but I know they do do some good )

Who else misses the rather calm and serene backgrounds that were actually much more unsettling because of whatever subject the video is based on? Putting these "creepy" backgrounds somewhat detracts from the experience in my opinion.

From what I can gather, it seems it was most likely rat poison, or more specifically, Thallium. The girl has some of the same symptoms that come from chronic Thallium poisoning and the girl's death takes place before it was outlawed from being commercially sold. Also, why did you want to know...? : )

Was actually wondering the same thing. Now I don't exactly know much about toxicology but it seems quite a long time for someone to survive such high dosage of arsenic/thallium. Especially a 5yo child. Now as far as mercury goes. I think that should have killed her even faster then the above mentioned poison.

I don't get what's so bad about it. The girl's soul could've resided in that journal, and transferred into the boy. Not the worst way it could've ended.

A mother was poisoning her daughter and fooling everyone into thinking she had tons of health problems. She shaved her daughter's head and pushed her kid around in a wheel chair. She would raise money for 'medical bills' and was announced a hero. Eventually, the daughter realized she was getting worse and wanted to make her mom pay for everything she had to go through and helped her boyfriend kill her.
