I love Monster High, but I am concerned about the distribution of the Gen 1 dolls. I also know that there were several Walmarts that never got the Creeproduction dolls. Issues like that make me lean more towards buying Shadow High dolls over Monster High dolls just because they are made more avaliable in store for their actual retail prices. I personally refuse to deal with the MH Scalper prices and it kind of ruins trying to collect Gen 1 MH dolls for me.

I don't have a problem with influencers getting these dolls, u guys have worked hard to get where u are. But I do have a problem with mattel not making these dolls very accessible!

Then the creeproduction dolls weren't showing up in my town I got told by people it was because of distribution issues but they never came and I found out later it was because they were "select stores only" and Mattel just didn't mention that in any of their promotional material. I don't trust for a second that they won't do that with these too. Especially since they look like they're more in line with limited edition collector's type stuff.

Thank you so much for addressing the situation with PR boxes and doll releases. I feel like there's a lot of negativity online surrounding release dates and availability for a lot of these dolls (especially with Mattel recently), so I tend to avoid social media until things cool down a bit. I think it's also a really good for the community to understand that influencers don't have control over things, and everyone just tries their best. I will admit that I was one of the people that was worried I won't be able to get these dolls (because I refuse to pay scalper prices), but it is reassuring to hear that they will be available in stores eventually.

A lot of people I've talked to yes are very frustrated by seeing influencers get their hands on them for free because outside of KZfaq people are not seeing these on their shelves or Amazon. To this day I have not seen the storm Twins amongst many other hit the shelves nor Amazon. They just quite collecting and I'm almost there myself seeing the poor customer service and product distribution in other people's countries.

Mattel said the same thing about the Creeproduction but they were in very limited stores.

I love how the skin color varies on each doll! Even though they are all in grayscale each has a unique hue compatible with their signature color. I do hope they will be available in stores worldwide.

I love this line! I am a little upset about the drop, especially because my area never ever received the creeproduction line! I am not someone who can order online, and even if I could they were never available in my area! Still haven’t been able to get my hands on a creeproduction, can only cross my fingers for these beauties🤞

This whole doll line reminds me of the dark versions of Lagoona, Draculaura, Frankie and Clawdeen in the 13 Wishes Movie!!! I love themmm!!

this is truly amazing that the same person is still making videos when I was 7, I'm 17 now. and seeing them still making videos of monster high. monster high really has a special place in my heart, monster high is one of the main reasons why I am who I am, monster high made me realise my sexuality and all that, monster high really thought me how to be myself! back then there wasn't really dolls that gave that kinda of message to the little kids. barbie never really was for me I saw barbie as the really picture perfect blond girl (don't get be wrong barbie is iconic) but there is just something in monster high that really has a big hold on me. I'm really sad that I don't have my 48 dolls anymore cause I was a kid and didn't know how to take care of my dolls. so I'm really upset that they don't sell these dolls anymore here where I live. my interest in monster high started to fade away the year after monster high stop selling dolls and making animated movies and series but I still every now and then went back to check on the videos and started to wish that they'ed come back some day!! when they released the first skullector horror movie dolls, I knew that there was hope for the school to open their doors for new monsters.

17 yr old highschooler here! i have to disagree with you about the ghouls looking like 30 year olds. they definitely look like highschoolers, heavy makeup always makes us look older. edit: also, g3 ghouls look like 8th/freshman but g1 are more junior/senior.

I'd never owned the OG dolls back in the day because I couldn't afford them. Now I can afford them but I can't find them anywhere. It's just so frustrating

I'm glad that we will still get our familiar og dolls. Monster high is unquestionable big this year and i am glad for it. It keeps the fandom alive. I grew up with the og dolls and my problem is that they are only really available on some continents. I doubt that they will come in the shelves in German stores any time soon. Maybe they will at some point but i don't like that normal og dolls are released on monster high creations. It is wild when a release is about to happen. I am fine with haunt couture being there but not for the normal-prized ones.😥

You should put the posters on the wall behind you between your dollshelves. That'll be a good spot for them and then you can show them off in each of your videos 🙂

So there are two kinds of Monster High now. The less ghoulish thicker ones and the traditional more ghoulish skinny ones.

I personally like g1 A lot more it doesn’t matter if they look relatable or not because they’re fictional characters they’re monsters so I don’t understand the relatability when I was a kid I never thought about how their body looks like or how they look like I just played with them and enjoyed monster high as it was I think it has to be the environment That makes kids think about that the dolls body or how they look like which is very disturbing as a kid I never thought of anything like that and I enjoyed monster high a lot their body never mattered to me

i'm excited to get these dolls myself! my favorite from this line is definitely clawdeen!!! i'm hoping to get the whole set. the release date is very annoying with these dolls, i was expecting the reel drama dolls to not sell out considering the fact that they aren't limited edition, but oh well! i'm so used to this with monster high now i'm no longer phased. i'm hoping i find them in stores soon!!

my town never got the creeproductions or anything for monster high that has come out this year. i doubt it’s going to be available for some of us :( everything is being sold off market like mercari and they charge soooo much for only a 24.99 doll.

G3 is really growing on me and I think it will be successful based on collectors I see getting them and I think kids are going to love them too. I really love what they are doing with having the G1 style dolls coming out too.

These are beautiful dolls. I may end up passing on most of them but my girl lagoona has my heart so I may pick her up. I was always more of an Ever After High Girl myself so my nostalgia is not as strong for me as it is for others. My sister however loved monster high so maybe for her birthday I’ll get them for her.

In consideration of budgeting, I think I will only get one of this line. Clawdeen is my favourite, both because I adore purple and because the more subtle contrast of the accent colour (not as bright as others) makes her look both glamourous and dramatic.

I'm so glad you did this video as I was very upset to miss them on Mattel. I got an email at around midnight before they dropped, and by the time I even saw it, they were already sold out. I was pretty upset about that. At least now I know I have a chance to get them. It's a hard question to answer about who wins. I really love Draculaura and she has always been my favorite, but Clawdeen really is so beautiful; so I may have to tie them. Then Frankie would be next. Frankie has always been my second fav MH doll. Clawdeen is really starting to grow on me as a doll even though I have always loved her cartoon character. As a UK fan, I'm concerned that we won't get these since we didn't get Creepros :( I really want them but if they don't release here then it'll likely be extremely expensive to get hold of them as the Creepros were. I was only able to get Creepro Lagoona because it would've been to expensive for me to all 4. For Reel drama I definitely want Clawdeen and Lagoona, and I'm pretty sure I want Frankie too. I'm just really worried I won't be able to get any...

As someone who is genderqueer/Nonbinary myself its ok that you messed up Frankie's pronouns as you realized you did so. Frankie from g1,g2, and g3 are all different from one another. I see it as like, a multiverse thing like from into the spider verse they're all Frankie Stein just different also non-binary people can go by other pronouns besides they/them I go by They/Them and She/Her and so does Demi-Lovato, a non-binary celebrity! 15:08 Draculaura wanted Clawdeen to come with her😂 On the Frankie pronouns, I didn’t really consider the animated and live action Frankie’s to be seperate but I guess that makes sense. I have been thinking of this as a multiverse too, so OG and the dark ages Frankie is she/her, live action and 2022 Frankie is they/them. It can be confusing, but don’t worry you don’t need to beat yourself up over that. There’s a lot of changes and it was an honest mistake, and you remember now right? Keep going with the Monster High reviews these have been so fun and comforting to watch!

Monster HIgh has become a real source of frustration instead of joy for me and I assume many others. The constant ratrace of seeing doll after doll sold out in minutes, then the hundreds of dolls on ebay for 3x the price shortly thereafter. Monster High and Mattel do nothing but skirt around the issue, on instagram they don't even acknowledge the thousands of comments that are asking about re-stocks, available retailers, stock dates etc. They only like your comments if you say things like "they're fangtastic!" or "they're gore-geous!". It comes across as really childish. I don't have an issue with them sending PR... but not even influencers know anything about all these questions we have. I wish their system was more transparent about their products, what Mattel should really do if provide all influencers a sheet of useful information to be passed along. Why has it become so hard to provide this information, I feel like Mattel sits around mocking us. It's just like "well here's free dolls but you're not going to know anything and we won't say anything either". All this vagueness doesn't feel good especially when the scalpers are this rampant. Hopefully all of these dolls will be an easy find and readily in stock because so many of us are sitting here anxious and bitter about the entire situation. Thank you for at least saying, we have some info that we can't share until Oct 1. I know it's an embargo thing with corporations but some people act all high and mighty about it.

It's these scalpers everyone should be angry at honestly there the ones making it 10 times harder to get these dolls for a fair price, the innocent influencer who are so passionate, and genuinely love the dolls shouldn't be blamed unlike these greedy money hungry scalpers that just wanna rip you off and are probably laughing at you are ones that deserve to be getting dragged.

My question is, do you have any influence at Mattel? Like many of your other fans, I am so angry with how they are, or are not, distributing their Monster High reproductions/reel drama dolls. Why would you drop your product in the middle of the night on a weekday? Is Mattel playing to the scalpers for some reason? Are you sure we will be able to get them in stores? How do you know? Because by reading the comments below, many fans were not able to get the Creeproductions that way. How do we know it won't be the same with the Reel Drama dolls? I don't know about you or the other fans, but having to go to my local Walmart/Target stores every day/week is becoming a hassle. I am strongly considering to just join team Rainbow High where quality and product availability is so much better. I've already stopped collecting Barbie. I don't even recognize her any more. I’m so so so glad to have reel drama drac and lagoona 😂😂😂 I payed way more for them than I should’ve 121 for drac and 135 for lagoona, I need to get clawdeen and Frankie still, and I had the same issue where my dracs box was dented (I got her from Amazon). The outside box was perfectly fine but her actual packaging was dented in but I was able to pop it out n fix her box, I keep all my G1 in box

I hope people will have luck finding them in stores and I agree that influencers don't deserve to be hated or attacked because they get dolls for free. I already saw some comments online saying these dolls (or their posters) were spotted in Brazil... But I live in São Paulo, Brazil, and I never saw any of the new Monster High dolls. 😭 I searched in several different stores. I am not sure if the information is real. 😥 Maybe it was a short-time Mattel event - so the major part of the MH fans and collectors were not able to get or see any of them.

There's something extra about this Draculaura, though. She's downright creepy looking. Being in grayscale, I think she looks a little more like Nosferatu. Again, she's so creepy looking, but in the best possible way.
