Dito sa states they don’t assist na when you’re tearing. They just let you tear. According to my OB they used to do that but have found na if they assisted that the tear will be deeper as opposed to just letting the mom go through it on her own. Im halfway through my pregnancy now and sabi ng OB ko if normal yun delivery ko then they will just let me tear. Easier din yun recovery kysa if deeper yun tear
