Donnie was not solo material. He was a mediocre singer and dancer with no stage presence or personality. He got as far as he did on the MTB4 contest because of his looks. And his album was not good, that’s in part why it flopped. He should’ve made the band IMO.

Diddy always talked about how he didn't want Donnie to be like Justin Timberlake. But, that is exactly what he made him. A Justin Timberlake reject. Donnie should've had the appeal of Justin Bieber but, the music of Jon B. and he would've been set. But, that wouldn't been too much imagination for Diddy!

The problem with Donnie was that Diddy was trying to make him into his own Justin Timberlake, when he was really Jesse McCartney, at heart. His songs sounded like _FutureSex LoveSounds_ rejects. They should have marketed him as a pure bred vanilla pop singer because there was a shortage of that in the US market.

Lol it’s not even Diddy’s fault, it’s on the people gullible enough to sign to Bad Boy. Especially these days, anybody in their right mind would know that Diddy only looks out for himself and the artists get the shortest end of the stick. He a businessman

Re Up basically. If an artist is hungry, they can care less about the paperwork. And that’s understandable because the average person doesn’t have the knowledge an entertainment lawyer does. And people like Diddy and execs take advantage of that. The next season of MTB is just a money grab for Diddy. The success or livelihood of these artists are the least of his concerns. Day 26 were struggling financially and he didn’t give a shit.

Sounds like a lot of hate for Diddy. You can’t turn a square into a circle. He didn’t have any star qualities besides his voice. There are millions of people that can sing. Diddy didnt mess him up. Donnie just couldn’t grow a fanbase

The music sucked. Diddy did not give Donnie nor Day 26 good songs. He tried to do the same thing with DK but they called him out on it, then they received better songs. Diddy's only goal is to make himself money not give anyone lasting careers. He could've did so much with Donnie but he just strung him along. Sucks! I just wish Donnie all the success in the world.
