She would definitely be on my do NOT schedule with list. she’d never touch my children again. She was Definitely negligent and extremely passive aggressive. You knew what you were talking about. I would definitely speak to a superior about your experience. Because it’s unacceptable.

I’m glad you figured out everything and did what was best for your child. I dislike when doctors don’t take a parent concern seriously. It’s not normal if the child is in pain.

Rub on apple cider vinegar to dry up eczema and cocoa butter or olive oil to clear the dry skin. I had it around my neck, cleared up in one week and never came back! Take special care of the liver!

You did great Mom cuz you were persistent in trying to find out what was wrong with your baby and ultimately fixing everything. For the other baby- try using only white dove soap to wash/bathe and cetaphil lotion right after bathing. Don’t use anything else, it should help clear up the skin. My baby’s skin was extremely sensitive and this helped to normalize my baby’s skin almost instantly. Also try pampers sensitive skin wipes and pampers swaddlers or cruisers only. I found that some different brands of diapers caused irritation and rashes but I’ve never experienced any issues with the Pampers brand.

Wow thank you so much for all of this information! 🥰 I would have never guessed white dove soap! But I’m willing to try everything at this point

Those are your children and you were absolutely right when you said that you have to be an advocate for your children it doesn’t matter what society thinks you are responsible for making sure that your children are OK. You don’t have to kiss nobody’s butt because they’re a doctor because doctors are not always right, thank you for standing up for your children 120%. Don’t listen to what other people have to say if something happens to your children your family is the only one that’s affected.

In all seriousness, you always hope that you get the "good doctor"..Right!? Almost every pediatrician we went to, had a good one and a not so good one. We went through a lot with my youngest, from the age of 6 months they had a respiratory emergency. My baby was in the hospital bc nobody caught what was going on, and while we were there the doctor didn't realize my baby had a double ear infection!! So while we were discussing my baby and I repeatedly said that they didn't cry unless they didn't feel good, she realized that the ear drum had busted due to the pressure of the ear infections! My little baby went through 3 surgeries up until the age of 3 years old, specifically bc of the doctor not seeing the issues that were happening to my child! They're fine now, but still have some problems with hearing on the left side, which happens to be the ear drum that basically busted under pressure and not being a diligent doctor. The inner ear is scarred over from the whole ordeal and the worst part was that my baby couldn't tell me what they were feeling!! 😢 I didn't bring my children back to the same hospital that allowed that to happen to my little baby. Mama's know what is going on, we may be younger, or only have one or two children, but we know when something is not right with our child! This has not been the first time dealing with an ego maniacal doctor, but I know how you feel when you can't get an answer to the questions you are asking for the health of your baby..

Wowww just wow! Ugh this makes me so frustrated for you. I’m so glad your baby is okay now but I’m so sorry you all had to endure that. And it alll could have been avoided she the doctor took your concerns seriously
