The storyline is not that bad & is actually pretty good, & the cgi is pretty top notch which is always a plus

I think Tim knew who Hiroshi is and he's someone powerful within the Monarch organisation and he screwed up by threatening his boss's family. My guess is he's similar to Serizawa, he's also a Monarch nepo kid. The satellite is his project not job commissioned to him by Monarch and it detects levels of radiation that would randomly appear and disappear

Literally threw this on to take a nap with 2 hours ago and sat through both episodes, then needed to know more. I really enjoyed this. There was a little bad acting in the first episode but it only bugged me for a few minutes.

It's a good series, but there are not enough monsters. I knew that was going to be the case since all of the movies from this franchise revolve around the people and not what we all want to see. Wouldn't it be amazing if they did a show titled Monarch: Legacy of the Hollow Earth where somehow they are able to look back in time and see the history of the Hollow Earth where people didn't exist and it was all about the monsters? I'd watch and rewatch that all the time if we got a show like that. But that would mean that people would have to take a backseat, and of course Hollywood would never think that's a good idea.

Sad to say I found it a little flat... to be dragging at 45 minutes long is not a good sign... massive Godzilla fan, all my life I have followed watched and whatever else you can do as UK Godzilla fan, so I tried to work out what might be the issue, delighted KR is involved and that took it huge step up when he arrived, but it needed more impact, even a sighting of Godzilla would have been better. Having looked back and discussed it with friends, I think my major concern is that Michael Dougherty involved, KoM was the weakest of the three US films, and the opening two episodes had issues along the same lines as that... I will keep watching of course, but this needs to step up.

a pity the storytellers get always too influenced by 'Hollywood style' lack of knowledge/rationality/nobrainagain. Few examples: the bag recovered (high good quality water proof, by the way: I WANT its brand!!)) after 30 years at sea should be covered by (multiple) layers of sea grasses and barnacles etc. (trust me, I am a sailor), NOBODY ever rushes to help after a bad cartrucktrainairplane crash accident in Japan too (not even to ask if everything is ok), the guy picking up his wife BY HAND (please, no gloves) with a simple rope does not even set it in a 's' shape around the rail so to be able to have a kind of 'pulley' effect and/or being able to make an emergency 'stop system' if needed (trust me, I am a climber) while the military guy shows an amazing lack of skills/training or brain (she cannot reach your hand, go down a bit?).... beside these classic blunders, for the rest enjoyable: at least the acting is good and the 'big fellas' nice looking.

Human drama not enough monsters... To be honest, Igaf about the family drama plot, it carries no weight to the story. I will be pretty annoyed if they only use the monsters as a narrative device about human drama than actually about the monsters. People are saying how amazing it is... I don't see how daddy issues is amazing storytelling...

This is the stupidest series I have ever seen why? Because it’s so Fnnn Boringggggg! Yes Boringggg! How can the writers messed up a great conspiracy/classic giant monsters series like this? Too Much personal Sht on the characters Lives instead of focusing the MONARCH Project and how the government is covering it up etc.. Story Drags too much on their personal lives-(What is this? A cool Godzilla series or a tele-novella) cause thats the way and others like me that I’ve spoken too- feel about viewing it, Arghhhh! Like to see more of the talk about the secret Monarch Project (Straight to the point and not stalling of it etc) and possibly see classic giant monsters that haven’t been introduced yet into this upcoming Godzilla franchise, example: King Ceaser (Giant Dog/Dragon that shoot lasers at Mecha-Godzilla which also Godzilla helped King Ceaser to defeat the Mecha-Godzilla) the Giant Brown and Green Gargantuas in WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS, hello are the writer’s listening or reading our comments. I've watched 4 of the 8 episodes series and have lost interest completely. Not ANYWHERE NEAR ENOUGH monster appearances and the the plot moves at the speed of evolution & the very young actors aren't anywhere near up to the task.
