I feel like there's got to be something going on with Shaw biologically. There's good genes and then there's being that spry and active in your 90's. Maybe some sort of incident during a failed hollow earth expedition slowed his aging?

I don't like or trust May, Also the ending pissed me off....May thanking Cate (and holding her hand) and Not Kentaro Who saved everyone's life. May also kept throwing shade at Shaw who has done nothing but helped the group and has help Cate and Kentaro's family for the longest time.

The whole love story between Shaw and Keiko is shown right away with the comments at around the 13min mark in episode 1. You don't make those comments unless there was something between them.

In the KOTM end credits there's some easter egg news clippings suggesting that some Titans have telepathic abilities, which is true for some monsters like Mothra in the original Toho lore. So it might be possible that some Titans can cause hallucinations or disorientation with their psychic power.

Whatever May is hiding, who we see on screen seems like a terrible person. Among other things, she did not even apologize after her false presumption that in US could have cancelled Kintaro's career if not put him in jail.

God I hope they don't make lee shaw the grandfather of the kids. That's just going too far and silly. Hiroshi and none of the kids look even a little bit White. I already have a hard time thinking he is Bill's father. I think Lee Shaw might have secretly loved Keiko but that's all. I think shaw has made it very clear from his reaction and body language when he met Kentaro and Cate that he is not related. They definitely have their own mission and priorities doing what they do. I just hope that Hiroshi is alive cuz I like to see reunions. But who knows. this might be all some sick plan to think he IS alive to trap and get Shaw and everyone together.

It’s actually very much possible to have a half white/asian child that looks fully asian. I’ve seen it plenty in my surroundings including family members. I myself am also half asian. It all really depends on which dominant genes a child inherits.

Gotta be honest. Seeing a teaser of the series I thought the older Japanese actress seemed perfect. Then they killed her off and it became about kids. I lost interest.

I find the teenage protagonists insufferable. An over convoluted plot overusing flashbacks to desperately try to give some weight to their superficial relationships. Somewhat entertaining still.

Once I realized the older Japanese actress got killed off and replaced by kids I decided this wasn't for me. Could've been much better. It's a kids series now.

This was a boring episode full of idiocy and cliche film making. Whats the point of the black women too, except for an uneeded love interest she has no purpose at all. She could get killed off and it would have no impact on this show. There's less than 10 mins of worthwhile content in this whole episode.

Not the best episode. Started really seeing some heavier tinges of "woke" bs. Women stwong and diverse and smawt. Rawr. Don't ruin this show please. It's beautifully shot and I love the aesthetics and feel. It feels and looks more grounded like the 2014 film. Don't mess it up.
