I think the part I enjoy the most about your videos is the detail you give explaining everything you and everyone else at the farm are doing. I have absolutely no experience and yet some days after watching 30-40 videos of yours I feel like I could jump right in and help! So good. Keep them coming.

Very pleased to see the effort you put in to cow comfort and general cleanliness. I used to inspect and advise on husbandry (40 years ago!) but many UK farmers seemed to be focused on increasing cow numbers to increase income rather than taking preventative measures. Obviously technology has moved on, but so things are easier in many ways, but large herds mean bigger problems

Hi Erik, I'm from Wales UK and noticed the green algae stained in the watering troff. The weather here is always wet and we have A lot on our patio, I use "Sodium Hypochlorite" diluted with water let it sit then pressure wash to remove it and it works fabulous, Maybe you could try using it but make sure you rinse it out thoroughly after using as the cattle will be drinking from it, It will work on any stained surface, Especially the milking parlour. In the US it's called "soft washing" check it out? Maybe you'll have A use for it around the farm and it's nice and cheap, Thanks for the Great content.

If you haven't tried raw milk (unpasturized) it may be worth a try. Hard to come by but you should be able to find it in bigger stores or specialty stores. Also if you have a dairy nearby they may sell it.

@@babeloebie in the US it is mostly illegal to sell fresh, or "raw" milk, as it is referred to here. We stopped milking when I was a teenager and the store bought milk tasted very off. Metallic? Flat? Hard to remember.
