As hard as it is getting up that early in the morning, there is something special about the silence and the peace you get at that time of the day. Plus it's always funny watching Eric with his eyes barely open working away.

I had 30 years of milking Christmas mornings and i used to love it. Every where seemed so quiet even the cows and the radio played all the favourite Christmas songs

I woke up this morning from a dream that I was late for milking, until I realized that I haven't had a barn and cows for more than 20 years! Watching your video of Christmas day milking brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for making me smile. Love the verses at the end. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I grew up on my Uncle's farm in Bethlehem CT. From about 1955-1967 I helped with the milking and other chores. When I got out of the Navy the farm had been sold. Like you I miss the times on the farm. I really appreciate these videos and like the fact that the younger generations are involved in agriculture. Best wishes for Christmas and The New Year.🇺🇸🐢🐄🚒🚑🎄

There's thousands of dairy farmers in this country who woke up this morning to milk cows before doing Christmas. It is a diligent job, seven days a week, 365 days a year. I'm in dairy country. I appreciate the dairy farmers. Never complain about the price of milk being the farmer's fault, farmers don't get to set the price.

Eric, what a treat!! Thank you for doing this on Christmas Day!! 🎄🎁🎄 I especially loved it beginning at 6:28. I immediately recognized the song playing, "Breath of Heaven", I think performed by Amy Grant who was the artist to make it popular. The song is from the perspective of Mary, the mother of Jesus, as she was contemplating the angel's announcement to her. Little did she know that she would give birth to the Savior of the world in, essentially, a barn of livestock. 🐑🐏 Whether planned by you, or simply by the Holy Spirit's guidance, it was a lovely moment to hear that song while caring for your livestock. 🐄🐮🐄 Special moments!!

Merry Christmas. I love the sound of those pulsaters. Sounds like music to me ! I had to work this morning as well. Picked up 52000 lbs of milk at 6 dairies. Got done in time for Christmas dinner with my family. Shrimp n pumpkin pie n all that god with it. Family is special. Keep it up ☺️

Hi, this is very sweet of you. Only JESUS can save us/give us salvation through HIS ultimate sin sacrifice on the cross! HE payed for all our sins on the cross and came back to life on the 3rd day!!!Thank HIM for this. It has to come from your heart. We know you have isa in the quran but he is not GOD. JESUS CHRIST is GOD, see John 1, HE always existed and is equal with the FATHER and the HOLY SPIRIT. Listen to really good evangelists like Dr. John Ankerberg and Dr. Ron Rhodes. Growing up on a small dairy (milking 35 cows) was a chore when you are small. In fact, all our cows were named we had so few. But what a wonderful place to be raised. Really respect your hard work and work ethic Eric. I know the constant drag of never ever finishing a project for good is sometimes over whelming, but you have such an organized and thought out process, and you really care about your (girls and boys) that it is so very fun to watch. Your video's are getting better and better and always interesting. BB (be blessed)

Merry Christmas to you and your family,,i just found your channel a couple days ago and thoroughly enjoy watching! im 60 and as a kid and all my life i always wanted to live the farm life but it wasnt meant to be..watching you work so hard i probably couldnt have done it lol...my gramma came from a farm in italy back in the early 1900s and she was a hard working woman all her life,,she did mans work as she called it ...worked her garden into her 90s...blessings for the new year!!
