Hey folks, I’ve owned (and ridden!) a Gen7 since 2018. In sport mode, you won’t get 100 miles of range, instead you’ll be looking at about 30-35 miles. Also, as your battery discharges, your top speed will diminish; ~40mph under 80%, then lose a few more mph as you cross below maybe 60% (percentage thresholds are rough estimates). Cheers

The Gen7 reminds me of a dragon fly from the side. Looks pretty fun but prefer the look of the Onyx.

Also, forget the super 73 team. They probly removed you because you exposed them for all of their problems. But I totally respect you for that cuz you saved me a couple bills...even though I dropped the bills on the onyx 😅 quality over everything though

Have to agree that someone should have been present at the entry area so that wasn't the greatest first impression. However, I believe they have limited staff at these times and they're usually out back unpacking bikes and getting them ready for customers. Also, the USB is supposed to be tucked away into the headlight. It is used as a backup method for getting into the battery compartment in the event that the bike is dead. Plug the usb into a battery bank for example, then use the fob to open up the battery lid if needed.

Why they removed you from the IG Chat?

Take that thing offroad at 45 mph and you’re gonna crack those mags. Gen 7 is definitely a street bike.

i could tell just from the beginning when the shop was empty and the one guy that was there couldn't even give you some basic information about the bike when asked... this product was ehhhh. ultimately all tho the bike is what you're there for... customer service can go a loooooooooooooooooooooong way in selling a product. Monday motorbikes needs to up step up their Customer relations. what a fail. Get an ONYX & call it a day.

So far it sounds like the Monday bikes might have best range and be the second fastest. In the long run other than reliability, range would be most important for me. My super 73 S2 arrived last week. so far so good....also have an original Rose Ave with 2000 miles on it now. I was shocked with a buddy of mine. He has a converted tricycle with 750 watt motor 36 volt battery. In the last 30 months he now has over 12,000 miles on it. Second battery though. I was thinking of maybe getting a faster bike which the onyx or sur ron might be cool OR hot rod the Rose Ave at some point with a 3000 watt motor and big battery. Really appreciate your work.....good luck with the channel. btw.... I have to say that Super 73 did a great job on the redesign of the S series bike. It is so quiet and tight like a new Porsche or BMW feeling. I just hope they get the motor problems worked out soon. My girl and i ride 2 up on them at times with the S2 suspension making a huge difference. Take care Mr E-Looper!

I went with a 5,000 watt Enduro style ebike that I picked up for about $3k. Also, the video of you throwing the super73 in the dumpster was all I needed to know to stay away from that brand. I finally got my S2 and ... day one on the first test run my suspension had a bad seal and all the air leaked out. Im waiting for a replacement fork. I really wish I could ride!!! The test ride was super awesome. I rode the Gateway and the Gateway Booster both were great. The customer service was excellent. Update 1 I backed this company on Indiegogo. I was supposed to receive my 2 bikes in April/May my birthday was in April then Monday Motorbikes said June/July now Monday Motorbikes is saying August/September or maybe even later. I don't think it's fair that the new 3rd batch backers are receiving the same discount as 1st and 2nd batch backers. I don't understand why all 3 batches of Gateway frames are being shipped at the same time. 1st batch of frames must have been canceled to order the 2nd batch then the 2nd batch of frames must have been canceled to order the 3rd batch of frames. Good “First Impressions” review. I decided to get the Super 73 RX for me and the Ariel Rider D-class for my wife . Both are back ordered by the Ariel ships out end of July while the RX September! 🤷🏾‍♂️.

What really destroys the Monday design for me is the plastic they decided to use for the battery cover. That thing is so glossy and so scratch-able, it makes the whole bike feel like it should cost $500.

It’s a motorcycle really. It’s pretty cool. This bike was what got my interested in e-bikes. Then I found Super 73. Still haven’t received my RX but the more videos I watch the more I like it. The Onyx and the Monday are too heavy. I’d rather just get another lighter motorcycle.

I really like the looks of this over the Onyx. It looks more refined. Of course, looks are always subjective. The Onyx is cheaper but only if you skip on the better battery, turn signals etc and why would anyone skip on a better battery? For what I want from Onyx it will cost me 5500 minimum. But even if I go for the Monday, I’ll want to get a bigger battery too.

So S73 sell a bike to an up and coming influencer and it develops a fault, they then replace the bike with an updated motor and that develops the same fault! They then say that they wont be able to send a new V3 motor out until August and they are surprised and kick you from their groups when you mention it on your KZfaq channel!!!
