I just coped me an Blitz cab like 5 days ago. One of my homies work at this place called Ollie's and they were saling these cabs for $299 but my dood used his employee discount for me and I got it for $260. I truly suck at all football games but I don't care...its all I needed to finish off my arcade room...unless they announce House of the Dead.

This cab got ripped for little legit reasons. Marquee was my biggest issue. That got fixed. Personally I don't play online and always hated late hits cause it just took longer to get to the next play. Great cab. I changed the bat tops to purple, bought side art from Arcade Graphix to match the original cab but went with my team, unfortunately the Bears. That side art made a world of difference looks wise. But thats all personal taste changes. None mandatory.

The community on face book, driven by you tubers that like hate click bait click, just complain about everything . Normal people play these things and enjoy them without having to pick fault with everything. And it’s great that we can customize and make our own. The after sales market is huge for 1up

@KelsallsArcade yeah this community really sucks on yt. Either pushers or haters. And the circle of phonies. Hard to find independent people here. I like A1UP. Do they piss me off? Oh yeah. But I know what I'm buying. At best I'm just changing buttons. At worst I'm doing marquee, art replacement too. But thats cosmetics. This was the only A1UP I bought at full price. Oh well. I just subbed. Hope you are independent!

I have zero nostalgia or memory of this game in arcades but looks really fun! Especially on a game night with boys and a few beers. Brings me back to the old tecmo bowl days. We almost have the exact same "island" setup as well, except with TMNT in place for Blitz. 😅

I do like the replay value of the sports games. NBA jam gets a lot of play too!

@@KelsallsArcade NBA Jam is in the top 1-3 most played cabs in my arcade...especially with the less than 13 crowd. Its great to see. We even had a 3 adult and one child type game that got pretty intense and brought me back to the old school games of arcades!

I was real excited when this was announced but with the lack of late hits and the removal of all the exciting tackles and alot of the audio from the commentator really hurt. The removal of the attract mode was also a huge bummer, that being said it plays well for what it is and if it was a 2 player cab for 299 id consider it but as is its too far away from the real thing to pull the trigger.

Die hard fans of the OG might share this opinion, but for 99% of people they wouldn’t even notice anything was removed. None of my friends have 🤷🏻♂️

@@ThePaagshim I played the game before, I’m just saying the difference aren’t enough for a normal person to ever notice. It’s only die hard fans/ nerds noticing this stuff - which I’m a self confessed nerd but hey 🤷🏻♂️

@@KelsallsArcade ya im not hating on anybody who like it , i think they actually did a real nice job on the overall product . It runs smooth , looks good and from what i hear the joysticks are amazing, but for me it was a bunch of little things that made me pass . Looking forward to more of your videos man!

Wasn’t overly impressed with jimmy “lob it over the middle” Garoppolo in yesterdays game. But a win is a win 🤷🏻♂️ Just win baby!
