Hello.... how did you get your fondant so glossy. My fondant always looks like elephant tusk.

I use vegetable shortening instead of cornstarch or powdered sugar because I live in a more humid climate. This helps keep my fondant "moisturized". You can also use a hand steamer to go over the final cake (QUICKLY) to give it a shine.

Hi Keisha, sorry to hear you’re having a hard time. I’m not sure what’s going wrong, so it’s hard to give advice. The middle layer is a 6 inch round. Hope that helps.

I used 6 in round pans, 2 inches high & I filmed my carving process in the video. Try checking out other money cakes online. There may be another way that works better for you.
