Too bad you didn’t explain negative interest rates where the bank charges you to keep money there or how when you store money in the bank it is a loan to the bank and is technically no longer your money until you physically hold it or how the Federal Reserve can decide how much money is in the system which can devalue your purchasing power even if you’ve been an avid saver and spend responsibly. Probably would be less upbeat of a song...

Yes. This is how a check works. You give someone a check the bank pays that person then they take it from you. So you essentially are paying the bank and the bank is paying the person
