What about if the house you purchased in 1991 or 1993 was worth just under £40,000, would that be exempt from any banding at all? Also some properties let's say in Burnley, Lancashire were worth £1,000 to £10,000 so then how could that be banded?

my home wasnt built in 91 but similare sized properties which were built are in a lower band they have double grg parking for 4 cars on their drive, ability to extend, convert loft ext, I cant as house, in 2 n half story house every bit of space is used up. There homes are worth more as well. We are appealing 9 months and not heard from them yet, as they are inundated.

Is band A the cheapest so u won’t have to do anything ?

Martin, I am A carer for my mentally Disabled Daughter from 1993 to now 2020 and I have been in at least 7 houses I have bought in different councils all-round England and I found out I could have been discounted being a carer I am now trying to claim it back if I can get it where I live now in Lincolnshire Can I go after the rest back to 1993 thank you from Christine Davis

this needs revisiting and in particular the implications to new build properties - essentially news builds are being stun big time! i'm in band G and the nationwide price index calculators suggest i should be in E. VOA has an answer for anything in the appeal process - for me its unlawful.

Should have been teaching people that they don’t actually have to pay council tax in the first place, I suggest people look into the law not government legislation
