I built an Ashling EDH. It's hilarious. One of the more amusing decktech options is to load up on lifelink equipment. I once popped Ashling for a large number while she was holding Warhamster. And I ended up close to 100 life, in MonoR.

In one Ashling game, I hit ~150 life and had over 30 commander damage from various sources. I think every commander in the game hit me at least once, including someone stealing Ashling to hit me with. Good times!

No idea why, haven't had a game of EDH since before Covid, but it's something to fill a few hours and I'm not ready to cash out my collection yet. Do you have any decktech for dealing with annoying enchantments in MonoR? I have 1, but it's clunky, mana-heavy, kinda stoopid, and easily disrupted by combo hate.

@@imofage3947 "All is dust" is probably the best option there. Thieves Auction and Scrambleverse usually benefit you disproportionately since you're likely to have fewer permanents than other players. I don't recommend Warp World though unless it's just for the lulz.

This reminded me of that time I was losing with my storm deck and I decided to mill myself out and destroy every land on the battlefield with volcanic awakening. I died, yes... But 2 people are now on turn 1

I have a mono red spell deck that basically once it gets rolling just keeps dishing out free damaged spells with even a possibility of destroying all lands so basically there's no way for them to retaliate after that point and it's just an onslaught of damaging spells

I've done similar things with my Heartless Hidetsugu deck. Killed the whole table and somebody claimed we had a draw. No little lamb, I killed 4 players that game, so what I killed myself too, small price to pay 😂

This is like watching Dragon Balls, only psychedelic shrooms are missing for an even better experience..the moral of this story is try some magic mushrooms before a Magic match explore the unknown gain experience dare to experience the unknown and winning is guaranteed in any apsect :)
